“I am a very energetic and positive person who has experience with several Bucks County Nanny Agencies! I am friendly, down to earth, and very easy to get along with. I went to college majoring in elementary education and behavioral studies, where I graduated with honors and now pursue a career working with, and passing on my love of learning to children. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I love children and passing on my love of learning to them is extremely rewarding! I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over three years and can honestly say I love what I do! My goal as a Nanny is to have fun with the children, be someone they can come to and rely on if needed, and making teaching as stimulating and exciting as possible. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes preparing meals, light cleaning around the house, laundry, and dishes. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am devoted, passionate, friendly, adventurous, and caring. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include various outdoor activities, reading together, and arts and crafts. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be friendly and active!”

“Lauren was assigned to a third grade inclusion class consisting of twenty-one students ranging from students who were in special education, speech, and gifted and talented students. In addition, Lauren had to work closely with the special education teacher and four other third grade teachers to assist in learning activities. Her extra duties included supervising students, working in small groups and one-to-one with students, assisting students in humanities, meetings with the classroom teaching and the inclusion teacher, using a classroom management system, and monitoring student progress. She showed a true sense of professionalism! Her dedication, sincerity, and punctuality were evident in her daily work. The same high standard was evident in any task that I gave her to complete. Lauren displayed a caring, positive approach towards the students as she always displayed professional appearance, respectful manner, and excellent organizational skills. When given a task, she made sure it was completed, would stay late to work on projects, was flexible, and would help the school whenever asked. She was always willing to lend a helping hand in the classroom and went above and beyond what was expected of her to do. Lauren’s communication and organizational skills with both students and other teachers was excellent. I felt she could communicate easily with me on a professional level, as well as, on a friendship level. This made our working relationship very productive and cooperative. Lauren would not hesitate to ask questions, was very accepting of constructive feedback, and applied suggestions readily. It was the greatest pleasure supervising Lauren and working together with her! I highly recommend her, as she would be an outstanding addition to your home! Her dedication to education, her outstanding organizational skills, and her exemplary ability with working with children, leads me to believe that Lauren has the dedication and knowledge to be a successful Nanny with any of the Bucks County Nanny Agencies and will have a great deal to offer to the childcare profession.”

“I supervised Lauren’s student teaching placement in a third grade classroom. Over the course of her placement, Lauren demonstrated excellent planning skills, constructing lessons that were aligned to national, state, and district standards. In addition, her lessons reflected a variety of materials and activities that served to engage, excite, and instruct her students. She evidenced mastery of a variety of instructional technologies including the use of the computer and the smart board. Her ease with the technology and her ability to incorporate it in a meaningful way into her instruction was impressive. During the course of the placement, Lauren demonstrated that she could maintain discipline in this third grade classroom without sacrificing the student rapport, which is so important for a successful teacher. I was pleased with her ability to reflect on her own instruction and lessons, her ability to incorporate suggestions for change, and her desire to do a first-rate job every day! She conducted herself with a professional demeanor, and earned high marks from her cooperating teacher for her willingness to embrace any and all of the responsibilities that fall to the classroom teacher. In addition, Lauren appeared at ease and competent when it came to preparing materials and including some very challenging special education students within the classroom. She is a warm, hardworking educator! I highly recommend her and would consider any Bucks County Nanny Agencies that hire her very lucky!”

“I came to know Lauren when she was assigned as a long term substitute for my daughter's fourth grade accelerated learning class. She entered just after the school year began and quickly became familiar with the students and acclimated to the already established classroom environment. Her mild-mannered disposition and welcoming smile put the children at ease with the change almost immediately! This was particularly comforting to me as my daughter was transitioning to a new school and was experiencing stress related stomach aches at the time. Lauren was gentle and reassuring with my daughter helping her to feel that she belonged. Also, from day one she was in complete control. She was able to diffuse a situation and provide a safe and comfortable environment for the children. Often personalized study packets would come home that showed us that Lauren was capable of assessing the individual needs of the students and providing specific tasks to assist them in keeping in step with the rest of the class. She seemed to be in tune with each student and provided whatever was needed. One activity in particular that my daughter enjoyed was preparing for an upcoming test because Lauren had found a way to make it fun. Using the new Smart Board technology, she had the children compete in games of "Jeopardy" with material that they needed to learn. Not only was it fun, but also it prepared them well and reduced the anxiety over testing. I found Lauren to be unselfish and diligent in the care of my child while she was her teacher. I confidently recommend her for any task where enthusiasm, hard work and trustworthiness are valued! She’d do well with any of Bucks County Nanny Agencies.
