Keeping an eye on 10+ children is a daunting task, and gaining a lasting, loving relationship with one child is nearly impossible at a Delaware County day care position. As a nanny for a local family, you will be able to grow with the child, and help with their development. Read the reviews below to ascertain that a nanny position is right for you:

“Abigail was a wonderful teacher at her Delaware County day care job! She has a lot of enthusiasm for what she does. She is very dependable, someone you can always rely on. Abigail is very creative and always coming up with innovative ideas for projects as well as activities. She always goes above and beyond the call of duty. She is a very thoughtful, patient and caring person. The children adore her and so do we. I have really enjoyed my experience working with Abigail as our nanny. She is very hands on and always kept our children's attention with fun and exciting activities. She did a lot of science experiments, which the children LOVED! She was excellent in teaching Spanish to them, as well as keeping to the schedule we follow. The children learned so much, and had a great time doing it. Abigail has a great sense of humor and is easy to get along with. She is an amazing nanny!”

“Erica played a major role in Ayden's academic and personal accomplishments (i.e. counting and potty training) when she worked for him at her day care job in Delaware County. I have a happy, well-behaved child due to the attention that she has given. Erica is very outgoing, organized, cleanly, and a good communicator among other attributes. As a parent, the positive, nurturing environment makes me very comfortable leaving my child with her and the knowledge that if something were to go wrong, I would be advised immediately. She is creative with the children. She teaches manners including sharing. She would make a great nanny!”

“I worked with Faith at a Delaware County day care job. We were co-teachers and partners working with three to five year old children. From the beginning, Faith was hard working and enthusiastic. She has been more than happy to pull her fair share and more. Her cheerful and energetic demeanor made working with her a pleasure. Together we have put in man y hours thinking of interesting and creative ways to make learning fun for our students. She has been a driving force behind our lesson plans with her love of books and the desire to share that love with her students. Our children sing, dance, and draw with our books and she often gives books away to start their own libraries. I value Faith as a partner and as a teacher and I happily recommend her to you.”

“June and I were responsible for thinking of activities for the children as well as preparing their meals daily at our Delaware County day care job. She always offered a helping hand where needed! She also had lots of great ideas for activities and games for our children. June and I, along with one other teacher were co-teachers in a classroom of 25 students between the ages of three and four. We usually did a craft in the morning, some structured play, story time and then lunch and nap. June has a love for books so she always took over story time, reading books with character voices and asking the children to draw a picture of the story or relate it to their lives. It was very creative and story time was always one of our student’s favorite times! Another area where she excelled was naptime. I believe it was her nanny background that gave her the patience to sit with and rub children’s backs until they fell asleep. She was kind and nurturing and a great partner!”

“Ilene is a hardworking, energetic woman, who cared for my son for two years from 16 weeks until he was two years old. Ilene is not your usual childcare provider. She came to us after ending her position at a local Delaware County day care job. She went to the extra effort of bringing books from the public library that he would enjoy. Sometimes instead of reading to him herself, she let him tell her a story from the pictures. Other times she would bring aboard or card games to play with our son or take him to local museums and parks. Ilene even managed to convince him that carrot and celery sticks along with an assortment of fresh fruits are really “fun foods”. That along with helping me out with meals at night was a lifesaver. In addition, Ilene also shared her love of music with my son. Her musical interests run from classical to contemporary. My son enjoys music especially “making song”. As a result of this, Ilene taught him little tunes that he proudly performs for us. I often came home to find art projects that Ilene helped him create. I found her unselfish and diligent care of my son a true blessing and confidently recommend her to you as a nanny.”
