Children: Newborn and 2 years old
Salary Offering: $15-$17/hour

PARENT REQUEST:

“The nanny will need to be responsible, intelligent, focused, engaging, caring, careful, tidy, and conscientious. Should take the initiative so that she does not need continued constant guidance from me. Someone coming from a background at a Lehigh County clerical job would be welcome, as the level of patience and organization would be perfect. Should be imaginative/playful in terms of keeping the toddler occupied (i.e. not just turn on the TV). Should be able to be calm and set boundaries gently but firmly.”

Is your current Lehigh County clerical job maddeningly tedious? If you are looking for a more fun-filled way to spend your days, consider a local nanny position! Families like those below will truly value your personality and background:

“Faith went beyond normal requirements of her Lehigh County clerical job. As her boss, I asked if she could provide occasional childcare to my daughter when needed. She came to my home and cared for my daughter while I needed to be away from the home either to work or care for my father. Faith always arrived on time and was extremely flexible. Her duties were feeding, diapering, putting my baby to bed for naps, and entertaining her with books and infant toys. Faith also cared for my 6 year old male Beagle by providing him with care, going out, and feedings. Faith also served as an excellent helper on the day of my father’s funeral by taking charge of my daughter at the church and having her ready for us when the time was appropriate. She also took care of all of her needs while my husband and I were at the graveside and grieving with our family. She truly was a blessing to our family by being able to help us during this hard time. My daughter grew very fond of Faith and trusted her completely. This made it easier on us knowing we were leaving Katelynn in trustworthy loving hands!”

“I first began supervising Heather when she was a student. During that semester, she worked at a Lehigh County clerical job. When her internship was completed and she graduated, we offered her a position as a program assistant in the same department. She was with us for almost two years until she moved out of the area. In her promotion, Heather worked primarily as an assistant to our Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists as well as our Early Childhood Educators in treating children ages birth through three years old with a variety of developmental disabilities. Her job responsibilities also included many clerical duties such as scheduling, maintenance of clinical charts, setting up client documentation electronically as well as telephoning and communicating to patients and families on a regular basis. After her first year of employment with us, during her performance review, she was given an "exceeds expectations" rating, which is primarily reserved for our most outstanding employees who go above and beyond their job expectations. Heather was an asset to our therapy department! She was a very dependable worker and had a wonderful and natural way when working with the children! Heather was extremely organized in her clerical duties. She basically had a lot of responsibility and always proved to be flexible and pleasant in her dealings with staff, patients, and their families. She took initiative and completed all her tasks with much ease and competence. I would highly recommend Heather to you! She is a hardworking and dedicated employee, and her positive and energetic personality would make her a benefit to anyone she was affiliated with!”

“I met Susan when my son was 2 years old and had some developmental delays. My son was always in a group setting with other children and all the required professionals for that group. Susan was always involved and over the next year that he went to daycare, she was always involved in the care of my son as well as the other children. Susan is such a sweet person and is just a breath of fresh air when she walks in a room. She always has a smile on her face and is just one of the kindest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. After my son left the daycare, Susan and I had reconnected through a mutual friend who was working with her at that time in a Lehigh County clerical job. She is a wonderful, sweet and genuine person and I highly recommend her to your family!”

“I have had the privilege of knowing Paula for several years! Over the years, she has consistently displayed qualities of honesty, loyalty, and sincerity. Paula is a woman of great integrity, and faces every challenge with a positive attitude! She cares deeply for the needs of others, often putting their needs before her own. More recently, I had the pleasure of working alongside Paula at a Lehigh County clerical job. I was able to observe her as she interacted with the other coworkers and participants. She was able to establish an excellent rapport with each individual with whom she came into contact. Through her kind, encouraging words and positive attitude, Paula's impact on others at our facility was tremendous! She exhibited a strong work ethic and demonstrated a genuine love for working with people. I would highly recommend Paula to you! She is a pleasure to work with and is a true blessing in the lives of so many! She would be a valuable addition for any family!”

“Britney picked up my daughter promptly from school, fed her, and completed that night’s homework assignment with her. She bathed my daughter and got her ready for bed at the end of the night, and always made sure they had a great time together! I met Britney four years ago when we worked together at a Lehigh County clerical job. Britney was always very professional and on time and was well liked by all. Britney began watching my daughter while I attended college, and she did fun things with her, like take her to the mall and other activities. My daughter really grew to love her! Britney has been caring for my daughter ever since, and this year started picking her up from school and taking over the daily tasks that I cannot do in my absence while I am at school. Britney and I do activities with former students during the summer at our own expense to places such as, the beach, mall, roller skating, going to Ocean City, amusement parks, etc. She would be a great asset to any family!”
