“It was quickly determined that Jessica interacts appropriately and very warmly! When a position opened up as a personal aide for one of our students who have autism in early winter, Jessica was asked to assume this challenging position. She showed herself to be dedicated, enthusiastic, patient, and resourceful! Jessica, along with the child’s parents and teachers, developed a plan to assist this child in his classroom interactions. I am pleased to tell you that due in part to Jessica’s consistent and reassuring presence, this child was able to successfully complete the preschool year with his peers! Over the past summer, Jessica was once again assigned a difficult task of working with another autistic student in our program.
