Do you have children who need a Nanny who can also act as a Main Line Tutor? ABC Nannies like Jessica use their background to help children develop their intellectual skills through a variety of activities.

“I am an extremely energetic open-minded person who loves to be around children! I have been a Main Line Tutor for many years. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I love working with children and the opportunity to work with them in a family setting would be ideal for me. I have been serving in some form of childcare for over four years and can honestly say I adore what I do! I feel the children are curious and carefree individuals who should be encouraged to learn and explore their environment in a safe and healthy way. My goal as a Nanny is to encourage children’s natural curiosity and creativity while maintaining a safe and comforting learning environment. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes dishes, light laundry, and general tidying up. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am energetic, open minded, intuitive, neat, and cheerful. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include story time and playing outside. I like to incorporate discovery into a regular part of a child’s development and I think that creativity is crucial, so free expression using art or music is also key! If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be warm and open!”

“Not only has Jessica taught a variety of students to swim in a private setting, but she has developed solid relationships with the clients as well! I was delighted to learn, that although Jessica does a wonderful job with all children, she excels when challenged. Whether she works with an extremely frightened beginner, or an overactive youth, she amazes everyone with her successful teaching techniques! Her behavior management abilities are so redeeming that we have yet to find a student that Jessica cannot handle! In one day, Jessica would see at least ten students that require her to adapt her teaching techniques, style, and personality. With grace, she configures these necessities to maximize the autonomy and learning rate of her students – using her experience as Main Line Tutor. Her nurturing ways show her children and those observing the proper way to guide a child in the learning process. Jessica has a professional outlook and her experience is always appreciated! She is resourceful, fair, and dedicated. Her personality would work well independently or in a team setting. I firmly believe that Jessica will excel in any atmosphere and I would recommend her unconditionally!”

“It was quickly determined that Jessica interacts appropriately and very warmly! When a position opened up as a personal aide for one of our students who have autism in early winter, Jessica was asked to assume this challenging position. She showed herself to be dedicated, enthusiastic, patient, and resourceful! Jessica, along with the child’s parents and teachers, developed a plan to assist this child in his classroom interactions. I am pleased to tell you that due in part to Jessica’s consistent and reassuring presence, this child was able to successfully complete the preschool year with his peers! Over the past summer, Jessica was once again assigned a difficult task of working with another autistic student in our program. Jessica met with the child’s Occupational Therapist and learned strategies to help this boy in our classroom. She is a very intuitive person, and quickly learned when the child needed time away from the hustle and bustle of the busy classroom, when he needed to be “brushed” and when he would benefit from wearing his compression vest. Jessica helped make his preschool year here a positive one! Jessica consistently demonstrates good judgment, is considerate of her coworkers, and takes constructive criticism well. She will be a welcome addition to your home as a Main Line Tutor!”
