“I really thought when I started interviewing Nannies it would take weeks to weed out the good Nannies, but I was so pleased to find that ABC Nanny Source only sent qualified candidates who were professional and experienced. We chose our Nanny the same week we registered and she has been wonderful! The hardest part of the process was deciding between the great candidates!”

“I come from a family of five where my mother had the opportunity to stay at home with my two brothers and myself. I believe it really made a difference to have a stable force at home with us. Working in the field of social work, I have seen a lot of difficult family situations and I would like to assist with helping children grow and learn in a healthy environment. I also had the opportunity to work in a daycare while in high school and saw how challenging it can be for a child to be taken out of their home environment for eight to ten hours a day and not be given that extra attention they need to grow a healthy sense of self. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I enjoy making a difference in the lives of children. It is a truly unique experience to work with children because they are our future and are so easily molded and influenced. I love the innocence of children and seeing them learn and grow! I have had the opportunity while working at the daycare and being a Nanny to see children grow up and go on to school and it is such a wonderful thing to see! I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 17 years and can honestly say I treasure what I do! I feel the children are special, unique and wonderful learners! My goal as a Nanny is to help children feel safe, and help them grow and develop self-esteem. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes dishes, dusting, vacuuming, and laundry. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am energetic, empathetic, kind, responsible, and motivated! Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include walks in the park, trips to the pool, game playing…the list could go on and on! If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be kind and flexible. Thank you for considering my profile!”

I was brought up with strong ethics, morals and values and was taught to be a leader and not a follower. I chose a Nanny career because I have a passion for helping others and a natural, kind spirit that allows people to trust me. I have been providing childcare for a very significant part of my life and have become very comfortable with children. I understand that being a Nanny not only means watching someone’s child but it means caring for that child, being responsible for that child, and loving that child as if they were my own. Maintaining the safety and well being of the child is my number one priority. The ideal Nanny position for me would be with a safe, stable, and happy family who allows freedom of learning; allowing me to take the child on trips to the zoo, Franklin institute or the please touch museum, places where I loved to visit as a child!
