"I absolutely love being with children! I have worked at multiple day care facilities in the past. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other if would have to be because working and being around children is my passion! I'm great with children of all ages and also have years of experience doing so. I have been serving in some form of childcare for over 10 years and can honestly say I LOVE what I do! I feel the children are exciting, fun and bring out the best in me! My goal as a Nanny is to help the children grow, and help them to become better people in the future. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include outdoor activities (playground, sports), educational programs or activities and art projects. “I am a very nice, sweet person. I love children. I come from a huge family filled with children! I have always been the babysitter for everyone. I worked at a Day Camp for 2 years working with the 5-7 year olds. I babysat for many families I met there. I am also a semester away from graduating from Penn State University as an Elementary Education major with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. "I'm outgoing but not necessarily bold. I like to meet new people and have always had friends who come from a variety of countries and backgrounds. My goal is to do work that is important to the future, and taking care of children is one of the best ways to do that. I loved raising my own children and enjoyed the jobs that I've had working with other's children. I've worked in group settings with children, but I find I enjoy the more personal relationships that develop with smaller numbers. One of the most exciting things to me is seeing children learning or experiencing something new! "I have a very upbeat and social personality! I like to have fun, but I also function well with routine and structure. My goals are to finish my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education, and then go on to get my Masters and PhD. I am the oldest of 4 children. My 2 younger siblings are 12 and 15 years younger then I am, so I started my childcare experience in my early teenage years. I had a very happy childhood. I am close to my siblings and my parents.
