"I am an organized, fun-loving, energetic person that loves kids and providing them a nurturing and stimulating environment. I think it is very important to give children a solid educational foundation starting in the home so that they can succeed in the ever-changing society. I want to be a nanny so I can use my teaching background in order to help a child develop into a well-educated, active citizen. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I will be able to utilize my educational background as well as my love for children and teaching to leave a positive impact on a child and their family. I have been serving in some form of childcare and as a Warren County Governess for over 8 years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are the future. It is the responsibility of the parents and of the nannies to make sure that they are ready for whatever life can throw at them. It starts with love, patience and then can start incorporating educational and life lessons. My goal as a Nanny is to help a child develop into a healthy, well educated, intelligent, active individual by providing a nurturing and safe environment where learning is fun and hands on. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes preparing the child’s meal, cleaning up from the meal, cleaning up after doing activities, and any other general clean up after the child. If I had to describe myself I would say that I am fun, outgoing, professional, organized, efficient, and creative. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include games that the child and parent can play together, arts and crafts, sports, musical activities, cultural activities, etc. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be loving towards their child and able to provide a safe and nurturing home."

“I became acquainted with Aubrey several months ago when she began to volunteer in the Kindergarten and Hearing Impaired Resource Room at our school while she isn’t busy as a Warren County Governess. She volunteers every day and is involved with every aspect of the students learning. As the teacher for the Hearing Impaired, I am especially grateful for her interests, concerns, and sensitivity for my students. She wanted to learn every aspect of teaching this special population and was willing to read text and review curriculum designed for this population. My students love her kind, gentle, loving manner and look forward to seeing her each day! Her ability to interact positively with children along with her natural ability to present subject matter is what is needed in education today.”

“Aubrey really added a lot to our children’s lives every day as a Warren County Governess. It meant a lot to have them in such a family oriented environment while we were at work. We are very thankful for her children’s’ interest and participation in their lives too. Aubrey keeps things interesting for the kids by providing clean age appropriate toys to the kids and switching to new toys every couple weeks. She challenges them with activities to help them learn and realizes the importance of outside play, which is sometimes missed at in-home daycares. The most important aspect of Aubrey's care is her love and friendship that she offers to the kids and to the families. This is often missing from others and we know that our kids are around love every day.”

“Aubrey teaches at the school my son Dylan attends; she has gone above her duties as a teacher to help my son with his needs. Aubrey has been there through very difficult times in my son's life, she has always done her very best, to see to it that my son gets the nurturing care he needs. Aubrey treats every child with the love only a parent could give because of her experience as a Warren County Governess. I speak on behalf of all the parents that have had their children in Aubrey's class.”
