"I feel I am a very friendly and outgoing person, and I absolutely love being around children! I interned with Children and Youth, and I have recently earned my teaching certification. It warms my heart to see a child having a good time and enjoying itself. There are too many children out there who feel they don’t have anyone to turn to, and I want to be there for them to let them know that they really do have someone looking out for their best interests. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession because I have a great love for children, and I want to give a child a many great memories they will never forget. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over ten years, including experience as a Warren County Housekeeper with childcare involved, and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are I feel that children are the future. If we provide them with a loving and stable home environment they will prosper and blossom into wonderful adolescents. The love and compassion we give to children shapes the overall well being of the child. My goal as a Nanny is to provide children with a home environment in which they can have fun, be imaginative, and prosper at the same time. I am willing to do housekeeping at the children requests that includes I am willing to sweep/vacuum the floors, take out the trash, do the dishes (by hand or load/unload the dishwasher), pick up toys around the house. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am hard working, energetic, outgoing, nurturing, charismatic. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include be games, reading stories, trips to the park or zoo, and arts and carfts. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be very fun and easygoing."

“Jessica joined my class as a student teacher in January in addition to continuing her work as a Warren County Housekeeper. Early on, I became impressed with the way she managed to pick up a lesson midstream, or take the children down to lunch when I was interrupted and detained unexpectedly. She stepped in without skipping a beat and has continued to do so. The class is a difficult group, with many opportunities for Jessica to gain new experiences and to try out and refine her teaching techniques. Jessica has risen to the challenges and has learned to appreciate the small successes, as well as the larger picture. The students have seen her hard work and determination. They have also seen her struggles to do well. She has their respect and mine too!”

“Jessica was very helpful in the classroom. She was also able to help the students complete their work. She has a love for children and a very cheerful and upbeat personality. I think that Jessica would make a great nanny. She was able to pick things up quickly and completed her given tasks. She developed strong relationships with the children; who really enjoyed her. She is able to keep the balance of having fun but also staying disciplined. She was also very willing to help in any way that she could. Throughout the two years that I worked with her before she left for a Warren County Housekeeper position, she also learned a lot of ideas and techniques on how to educate children as well.”
