"What impressed me the most about finding a nanny with ABC Nanny Source was the level of detail and organization in which such confidential information was presented. When we started our nanny search, I received an extensive profile for each NYC nanny candidate before the interview. Once each nanny arrived at my door, I was fully relaxed because I felt I already knew the person in front of me ~ that is how detailed these profiles were! The process was made very easy for our family with this nanny agency and within a matter of days, I hired the perfect nanny for our children!"

Amy enjoys being a Bronx Tutor and helping children reach their academic goals!

"I am warm-hearted, consciousness, and adaptable Bronx Tutor who has outstanding people skills. I am also externally focused, with real concern for how others think and feel. I grew up surrounded by special education teachers and administrators. I have several years of experience in working with typical and atypical children. I was fortunate enough to work with the most challenging students and their behaviors. With that being said, what I find rewarding about working with children is the following: the fun you have with them, the opportunity to be imaginative and creative, a variety that is offered, and helping children grow and explore life. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other profession it would be because I feel that it offers opportunity and growth to be a part of a child’s life and the child’s exploration of life. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 5 years and can honestly say I have a passion for what I do! I feel the children are our future. When you look down at the younger generations, you see children who one day will be our next teacher, doctor, and president. Also, children are always exploring. They are genuinely interested in what goes on around them. Children are fun, challenging, wise, and interesting. My goal as a Nanny is to provide the necessary support and guidance for the child in order to help that child succeed at what he or she is, and/or grows as a person within. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes: laundry, cooking, feeding pets, and grocery shopping. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am self-driven, empathetic, adaptable, outgoing, and determined. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include depending on the child and family, basic functional living skills and academic skills. I would incorporate these skills in games, activities, and arts and crafts. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me, I would hope they would be fun-loving, kind, and supportive."

"I became friends with Amy's mother and Amy and my daughter were friends since they were three. Our families became very close and we spent much time together while Amy was growing up. Amy has always been a very polite and kind young lady to me and others. She worked very hard in school and would never give up when obstacles got in her way. As a friend she is always willing to help out when our family was in need. Her energy and motivation is never ending. She gets along well with others and is well-liked by all who meets her. She is always been a very active person who maintains an active fitness program. She is very caring and her family is very important to her. Amy would be an asset to any family. She would work well with children and be concerned with their welfare. Her pleasant and easy-going personality would enable her to work with a team of her peers. As retired special education teacher of 28 years, I would have loved working with her in a classroom setting. She would be a positive role model for others. In closing, I would highly recommend Amy for a position in your school or family as a Bronx Tutor."

"It is with great honor to recommend Amy. I have known her as a friend for many years and have found her to be a reliable and conscientious individual. We went to school together and we have remained close friends ever since. I have also found her to be an ambitious and optimistic person who is willing to undertake the lead in any task, duties or situations when required. Her positive attitude and good judgment facilitates her in accomplishing whatever task she is assigned. Moreover, she is a hard worker and will go for that extra mile to make sure her job is completed properly, in time and to perfection. In summary, I would recommend Amy to be a trustworthy Bronx Tutor who can be relied upon and will prove to be a valuable asset to your family."

"Amy has learned the schedules and needs of the Infants under her care very quickly and thoroughly. She has a wonderful instinct when in comes to interacting with Infants. Her soft and gentle manner is easy for them to respond to. Her communication with the parents is thoughtful and informative. As a substitute, Amy works with many different teams of teachers during her days here. She is very friendly and kind, getting along with all of her coworkers very well! Teachers and assistant teachers are always very happy to learn she will be in their classroom for the day. As a director, when a teacher calls me at 7:00am telling me he/she is too sick to come into work, knowing that Amy is on my substitute staff is a true reassurance that the day can still run smoothly. She is always willing to come in with a couple short hours notice. She is extremely responsible in being punctual and her attendance-for pre-scheduled days is nearly perfect. Any organization that requires dependability, friendliness and professionalism would be fortunate to have Amy on her staff. Her customer service skills are excellent and we, meaning the rest of the staff and the families at our Center, only wish she could be with us more often! I highly recommend her for any childcare related position."

"I would like to give Amy my highest level of recommendation! She has worked as a substitute teacher and Preschool for a few years. Each classroom at our center has its own rhythm and whenever Amy enters a classroom to substitute, she quickly adapts and does what is needed. She most frequently works in the Infant Classroom, caring for and teaching children three months old to two years old. Amy has developed bonds with not only the children, but also their families. Parents have come to me and asked why Amy cannot permanently work in the Infant Room. That is perhaps my only complaint about her, that she is not a full-time teacher here for our Infant Room! I recommend her for any childcare position including as a Bronx Tutor."
