Linda is an extremely reliable and skilled Queens Mother’s Helper.

"I am a mature, energetic, fun-loving and focused woman. I am a happily married, proud parent of three beautiful grown children, and three adorable grandchildren, that all possess strong family values. I am currently employed at a local school district as a substitute teacher/teacher assistant. I have continued assisting children with special needs for the past fifteen years, and my attention is now drawn towards a more “individualized” plan of teaching and caring for children. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other, it would have to be because my love and devotion for children is endless; hence, I do not see myself working in any other profession that does not involve caring for, nurturing, and teaching children. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over thirty years, and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel that children are innocent little people that truly grow at a rapid pace, physically, cognitively, socially and emotionally. They know and understand a caring person, even without words. They express without fear when able, and learn to grow effortlessly with recognition and praise. My goal as a Nanny is to allow children to display their independence with guidance when needed, by using positive reinforcement as necessary. The children will have a comfort in knowing that I am looking, listening and truly caring. I am willing to do light housekeeping. The household chores that I will include is washing dishes and keeping a tidy kitchen after the preparation of meals, sweeping and light vacuuming if necessary. The children will learn to pick up their toys with my assistance. My intention as a “perfect” Nanny is to place my focus on the children’s needs. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives, I would say that I am an individual who is trustworthy, nurturing, loving, professional and fun! Activities that I intend to incorporate in the daily plan will be a variety of fine motor activities, such as coloring, beading, Play Dough shaping, Wickii Sticks and a variety of arts and crafts. Large motor activities may include a variety of activities such as dancing, walking, biking, playing a variety of ball games, walks with pets, going to the park and swimming if available. Quiet time will involve reading, puppet play and listening to soft music. Less television is best! If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me, I would hope they would be a professional family, who is very family oriented, who shares the same positive values as me."

"It has been my pleasure to work with Linda over the past 3 years. She was a teacher's assistant in my classroom full time and we worked on the same elementary team. Our classroom consisted of 7 students with autism, ranging in ages from 5-8 years old. Many of the students required assistance with self-help skills such as dressing, feeding, and toileting. There was a wide variety of skills and abilities among the students which required special attention be directed to individual learning needs and specific behavior management programs. Linda handled everything with a considerable amount of patience, optimism, and professional skill. She developed a close rapport with both students and professional staff. She would make a wonderful addition to any family."

"I am a recently retired Special Education Teacher who has worked in the field for 35 years. Within seven of those fine years, I have had the privilege to work with Linda. Linda has been an extremely dependable worker with a continuous positive and professional attitude. She conforms to tasks quickly and accurately, and follows through to complete the job. Since my retirement, Linda has also been generous to care for my 3 year old granddaughter, in a naturally caring and loving manner. I would highly recommend Linda for any childcare company, school setting, or a position as a Queens Mother’s Helper. She will be an asset to any institution. Thank you for your attention regarding this matter. I trust her with my granddaughter and she has been helping me through my family crisis. She is just an amazing person. Any family that hires her will not be disappointed by any means. I know she really enjoys the younger children!"

"Linda has worked with children also as a caretaker most of her life. She is absolutely wonderful with children, very interactive, creative, and very nurturing. She is wonderful and her heart is all children. I always commend her on her patience. She really is amazing. My child never stops asking to see her and enjoys every minute spent. She is a perfect fit for any family."

"Linda has been a teacher's assistant for 12 years working with special education students in various grade levels. Linda worked as a teacher assistant in my classroom with preschool students ages 3-4. She planned numerous sensory and art related activities that gave the students the opportunity to practice fine motor and gross motor skills. She has a good understanding of the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and demonstrates impeccable organization skills with materials and data collection. Linda is able to differentiate instruction for all students during various group lessons she had the opportunity to facilitate. She has been successful in assisting several students to become more independent by implementing positive reinforcement, behavior intervention plans and functional communication skills. Linda has assisted in implementing toilet training procedures as well as teaching dressing and feeding skills. She willingly accepts guidance and constructive criticism from administrators with a positive attitude to implement changes when necessary. As well as being professional, Linda shows compassion and dedication to the individuals with which she works. She is fully committed to any challenge that she encounters and strives to fulfill all areas of her job responsibilities. Linda continued to exceed all of my expectations throughout the school year, taking initiative and following through with all areas of her position. I believe Linda is worthy of your consideration for a position as a Queens Mother’s Helper."
