Diana enjoys being a Staten Island After School Nanny and watching as the children grow and learn!

"I am an educated, sweet, and friendly nanny. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I love working with children and being a part of the process of developing and enjoy teaching them new things by singing, reading, and playing games, and teaching Spanish as a language. I also enjoy teaching them new things and reading, singing, and playing games with them, and teaching reading as a habit. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over seven years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are very important. My goal as a Nanny is to do my best taking care of children. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes the children’s laundry, cooking, and cleaning the children’s bedrooms and play areas. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am friendly, loving, loyal, sweet, and trustworthy. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include eating breakfast, lunch and dinner. Doing activities such as reading, writing, singing, playing games, go to playground, go on walks, and go to the library. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be I like to work with a loving, busy parents so I could help them take care of their children."

"Diana worked with us for a year. She cared for my son, a newborn at the time, and helped around the house. She was terrific, dependable, conscientious, and trustworthy and took great care in handling my little boy. She was dependable in that she always arrived on time, never took any leave and was willing to stay extra time, even in a last-minute request. She was very conscientious with his health and took great care in cleaning and sanitizing his gear, room, toys, etc. She also took a lot of care in preparing healthy, nutritious foods for him. I never worried about his well-being when he was with her and could leave for work feeling confident that he was in good hands. I still keep in touch with her and know that she's an honest, happy, genuine woman. I'd highly recommend her!"

"Diana is a wonderful person that I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with for 3 years. She has worked with children for numerous years and is capable of working with various age groups. She is affectionate and caring and children always see her as part of their family. She is highly dependable, intelligent and responsible and has the ability to think on her feet in any given situation. She is creative and knowledgeable and knows how to keep children engaged. Activities with her are not only fun, but educational as well. I highly recommend her for any Staten Island After School Nanny position that she is seeking."

"Most people say that eyes are the windows to the soul. Perhaps, no one seems to feel this statement more than children. Though they cannot yet speak when they are infants, children seem to have a shrewd way of detective virtuous individuals from decadent ones. My daughter was 3 months old when Diana started taking care of him as his babysitter. Though I’ve always known Diana to be a virtuous individual with a magnanimous personality, I was impressed when my son, at 2 years of age, saw Diana and started hopping with excitement and asking Diana to pick him up. Moreover, I saw my son dearly hug Diana when she picked him up. Thus, this particular scene showed me that I would have no trouble leaving my child in Diana’s care. Diana always seems to think and talk about the children she cares for. I have seen her compromise her school schedule because she was asked to care for a child. I am more than convinced that you will not regret making her a member of your family!"

"Diana and I worked together for 2 years at a child care facility. Diana was a very helpful person, and always easy going, making her a pleasure to work with! Diana’s duties at the daycare were to assist with feeding and nap time; she would read books to the children and come along on outings to help keep an eye on the children. Diana would also help us in keeping the rooms, and toys clean. I think Diana will be a great asset to you as a Staten Island After School Nanny due to her experience, willingness to learn, and her good attitude!"
