"What impressed me the most about finding a nanny with ABC Nanny Source was the level of detail and organization in which such confidential information was presented. When we started our nanny search, I received an extensive profile for each NYC nanny candidate before the interview. Once each nanny arrived at my door, I was fully relaxed because I felt I already knew the person in front of me ~ that is how detailed these profiles were! The process was made very easy for our family with this nanny agency and within a matter of days, I hired the perfect nanny for our children!"

Karen enjoys being a Staten Island Nanny and being a positive influence in the lives of the children she cares for!

"I am a problem solver and I am a peacemaker. I love to cook, read, and play games. I believe that children should be exposed to learning via many venues. I enjoy working with children and being able to creatively influence positive learning. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I love children! Being in the Nanny profession also gives me the opportunity to be flexible, creative, and active with children. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 16 years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are funny, insightful, and trusting. Children are interested in the world around them and should be allowed to safely and productively explore. I believe that children are also one of the greatest gifts bestowed upon mankind. My goal as a Nanny is to help keep the children healthy in mind, body, and spirit, to make being a child fun and exciting! I am willing to do housekeeping that includes light cleaning, cooking for the children, keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas clean and orderly. If I had to describe myself in three adjectives I would say that I am professional, funny, and thoughtful. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include going on walks, going to the park, dancing, reading, and learning time. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Staten Island Nanny like me I would hope they would be a family who values learning, honesty, and integrity."

"I worked with Karen for two years teaching an inclusion Biology class. She was always full of ideas and suggestions for reaching the students and was extremely dedicated in finding ways to reach them. In addition to being very knowledgeable on current methodologies in child psychology and education, Karen also possesses the common sense and resourcefulness necessary when dealing with individual children. She was the best special educator I had ever worked with. She went above and beyond the job requirements and surpassed my expectations. I highly recommend her for childcare!"

"Karen was a member of my teaching department. She would always fulfill her job duties in a timely manner as well as assist others when needed. She was very helpful and committed to her job. She was able to juggle the demands of being a classroom teacher while case managing over twelve special education students. Karen is a great educator and is highly qualified in childcare. I definitely recommend her as a Staten Island Nanny."

"I have known Karen for several years now. I have worked with her with challenged, young individuals. Karen is a very hard working woman! She is someone that I can call a true friend! She is dependable, organized, and attentive to the children in her care. I definitely recommend her to any family seeking childcare!"

"Karen was well liked and I would describe her as being responsible, dedicated and motivated to engage the children! She set the bar very high for others who worked at the facility after her. During her enrollment in the program, Karen interned as a teacher’s assistant to an elementary school classroom. Karen loved the students, and they adored her as well! All of the children where sad to see her leave and so were we! She would excel in an childcare position, and I highly recommend her as a Staten Island Nanny."
