“I really thought when I started interviewing Nannies it would take weeks to weed out the good Nannies, but I was so pleased to find that ABC Nanny Source only sent qualified candidates who were professional and experienced. We chose our Nanny the same week we registered and she has been wonderful! The hardest part of the process was deciding between the great candidates!”

"A loving family adopted me along with my sister when I was 13. I felt a strong bond with my new family. They provided me with morals and values, which lead me on the path to provide the love and support that I received to other children. Not only was I provided with love, support and responsibility, but also they helped shape me into who I am today. I am a strong person with a desire to give back to children what I was given in my youth. I am a fun-loving person with a positive attitude. I have a great sense of humor and I am also very reliable. My goal within life is to leave a positive impression on every person that I encounter (young or old). To not only be successful in life, but to lead a happy and healthy life. I believe that children are our future; therefore, my personal goal is to provide a positive and winning environment, so each and every child knows they are important and can be what they want to be. My goal as a Nanny is to provide adequate supervision, be a role model, supportive of children and parents needs, create a positive atmosphere and become a trustful dependent for the children. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am dependable, hard working, compassionate, considerate and trust-worthy. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include taking the children to the park or some sort of outside activity for exercise, a daily reading session and play dates. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be supportive parents, and positive communication."

I also would accompany the family on some trips. Prior to that I held a position caring for an infant as a baby doula for the first 7 days from the hospital and the care for the infant on a part-time basis as needed. I have chosen the Nanny profession because I truly just love being with children of all different ages! I have been in some form of childcare for over twenty-five years and I feel children are a blessing from God. My goal as a Nanny is to give the best care in a loving a safe environment possible! "I am an enthusiastic, patient, and loving person who enjoys teaching and taking care of children! I grew up in a wonderful family as one of four children, and had a very happy childhood surrounded by highly intelligent, creative, encouraging and motivating people. I would like to be a nanny to help children have as joyful a childhood as I had, and to give them the educational support and positive influence that will help them to reach their full potential! I have many years of experience teaching children as a special education teacher in a private school, as a private piano teacher, and as the director of children's hand-bell choirs in both churches and schools. I want to continue working with children in such a way that I can give individualized attention, and help the child or children that I am caring for to feel confident, successful, creative, happy, and safe! Working with children, and watching their amazing growth both physically and mentally, is a very rewarding and fulfilling job, and that is why I would like to continue being a nanny. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other if would have to be because it is the most rewarding job I have ever had, because of seeing the successful results of my efforts in helping children to learn, laugh and enjoy life! I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 30 years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are each very different in their personalities and ways of learning. My goal as a Nanny is to provide a fun, safe, positive, motivating, and educationally stimulating environment for each child to be in. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes light housecleaning, organizing their toys, making the beds, laundry, and meal preparation. (I am an excellent cook!) If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am kind, thoughtful, patient, enthusiastic and creative! Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include physical exercise of some kind, reading a library book, doing a craft or playing with a toy that involves fine motor coordination, singing and/or playing the piano and solving an educational puzzle, which help a child learn how to think and reason. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be good communicators, willing to share with me how they would like me to handle their children in certain situations, and also willing to listen to advice if I offered it to them!”

"I'm an outgoing, but no nonsense person, interested in educating people in any field that I work in! My goals are simply to care for my family in a comfortable manner and continue to nurture them and assist them in reaching their career goals. I am the middle child of 5 children. I have 3 children ages 38, 30 and 14 years old. My 4 grandchildren are 19, 16, 12 and 8 years old. My youngest child has just begun her freshman year at Archbishop Prendergast and has informed me she is no longer in need of my driving services as she wants to take public transportation with her friends. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other if would have to be because of the love in raising children and the reduced stress of working in the corporate work place. My goal as a Nanny is to ease the stress of a working parent, knowing a responsible individual is caring for their children. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes meal preparation, straighten children’s area and laundry. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am punctual, reliable, trustworthy, responsible and loving! ROSEMARIE IS VERY THANKFUL TO ABC NANNY SOURCE STAFF FOR ASSISTING HER IN FINDING THE IDEAL NANNY POSITION!

Camden Nanny Needed! (Placed Camden Nanny Job)
City: Camden - NJ
Children: 1 child - 6 weeks old
Schedule: M-F 7:30am-5pm
Benefits: Paid Vacation, Paid Sick Time, Holidays
Hired: Rebecca

Hi my name is Rebecca! I am originally from Harriman, Tennessee I am the youngest of five children. I was home schooled from 5th grade through high school. Between early morning swim practice, concert band, kayaking, publishing a newsletter for the TN historical society and classes at home as well as at the community college, I found time to also nanny for two neighbors of mine while their sons were newborn to about 2 years old. Since then, I was a nanny to a family in Chicago. Their two children were much older, 11 and 14, and so it consisted more of homework help and preparing dinner etc. I've done quite a wide variety of jobs since, including a great deal of unpaid social work with inner city children, but I've always enjoyed being a nanny the most. I'm relational, creative, and high energy! I want to be a nanny because I love watching children grow and learn, and being a part of their personal development. Just as I learned in home schooling, one on one attention is incredibly valuable to children, and it allows for the caretaker to structure their time together according the needs of that particular child, unlike daycare or any other sort of childcare program available. I have been in childcare for over eight years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel children are exciting to work with! Children are so different so that means that I am personally challenged to be coming up with things that will challenge them as well! My goal is to learn from every situation, whether the situation is disciplinary, educational, relational, etc. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes laundry, ironing, dishes, vacuuming, mopping, organizing, and dusting. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include times of high energy creativity (such as art projects, or even a session of "getting your wiggles out" on a playground and times of low energy relaxation (such as reading aloud to them or just letting them play quietly. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be able to communicate with me often in a professional and personal manner about what they expect of me as a nanny, about what they envision for their children (what they are excited about, worried about etc. I hope they can view me as a part of the "team". I also hope that we can speak openly about what we need/want from one another to make that team work smoothly!”
