“I have always loved kids, and being the oldest of four solidified that at a young age. I have two sisters, who are 17&21, and a brother, who is 13,and I have always been the one they come to. I love being with family, I am always the first to volunteer to go with my mother for anything family related. My dad passed away in July of 06 from cancer, since then I have been like the second head of the household you could say. Between losing my dad and being in the army, I have matured faster than most ladies my age I think. If I can help a family with their children, I feel like I am doing what I am supposed to be doing. “I am currently 23 years old, and am employed at a daycare in Yardley. I work in the toddler room, which are ages 2-3. My first year at the daycare I worked in a younger toddler room with children whose age ranged between 1-2 years. I absolutely love my job, and love all the kids! I would love to be able to work with one family, as opposed to a classroom setting. As much as I enjoy it, it's hard to connect one on one with the children and I feel like being a nanny could help that. I'm the oldest in my family; I have two siblings who are actually twins and 5 years younger than I am. I've been babysitting since I was 16 for other families but have helped take care of my brother and sister since they were born. I love taking care of kids and feel it is something I have in me naturally.
