“I really thought when I started interviewing Nannies it would take weeks to weed out the good Nannies, but I was so pleased to find that ABC Nanny Source only sent qualified candidates who were professional and experienced. We chose our Nanny the same week we registered and she has been wonderful! The hardest part of the process was deciding between the great candidates!”

"My
personality is best described as outgoing,
caring and sophisticated. I adore my family and
I look up to my mother. I have watched and cared
for children since I could remember. I truly
enjoy making sure that a child is happy, safe
and learning at all times. I think it’s amazing
to watch a child grow. They are young and will
take in anything knowledgeable you give them.
Children express so much with out words. I love
that fact that you can be there for a child in
many ways. They can look up to you but you can
also act very silly and come down to a child’s
level to have fun with them. If I was asked to
describe in one sentence the reason I have
chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any
other if would have to be because I think it's
more fulfilling to watch a child learn and grow
and become someone new at each age, than to work
in a daycare or office setting. My goal as a
Nanny is to build a relationship with a family
and their children. I would like to become a
child’s friend as well as a person they can look
up to and know that I will always make sure they
are safe. I want the family to know that I have
the children’s best interest at my heart. If
asked to describe the perfect family seeking a
Nanny like me I would hope they would be a kind
and loving family!"

"I was fortunate enough to have grown up in a
very loving home with two parents and a sister.
I couldn't have asked for better parents! My
mother is a creative woman and has dedicated her
life to making our house feel like a home. She
has passed her creativity on to me, and I love
using it! Some of my hobbies include knitting
and gardening. I graduated from College with a
degree in Sociology. I decided too late in the
game that I wanted to be an elementary school
teacher, so I decided that I would attend
graduate school once I earned enough money. I
worked at a preschool for a couple of months and
am currently a manager at a retail store. I am
not enjoying this job very much because it
conflicts with my personality. I am a warm,
loving and nurturing person, and the job makes
me feel like these qualities in me cannot come
out, if that makes any sense. I would like to be
a nanny because I love children and feel that my
personality is well suited for taking care of
children. I was a volunteer camp counselor at a
Muscular Dystrophy summer camp. During this
time, I was paired one on one with a 6 year old
boy with muscular dystrophy and was responsible
for meeting all of his daily needs. Over the
years, I have assisted with church childcare,
been a counselor for vacation Bible school, and
worked with the youth group. When the head
teacher of a preschool class was on maternity
leave, I was asked to fill in for her. Before
this, I was called in for substitute teaching
when needed. My goal as a Nanny is to provide
the children with a nurturing environment. I am
also willing to do housekeeping that includes
cooking, dusting, vacuuming, washing dishes, and
children’s laundry. I appreciate all families
considering my profile and look forward to
meeting you soon!" |
