“I am a highly motivated and hard-working individual with a strong sense of energy and enthusiasm. I thrive on outdoor activities and prefer to remain active. The reason I chose to pursue a career as a nanny is my genuine love for children and the belief that I can make a valuable contribution to any family. If I had to summarize why I am drawn to the nanny profession, it would be because of my passion for working with children and engaging in active pursuits. With over 8 years of experience in various childcare roles, including the Marengo County After School Program, I can confidently say that I am truly passionate about what I do. In my opinion, children are full of curiosity, eager to learn, delightful, enjoyable, and innocent. As a nanny, my objective is to safeguard, educate, and entertain them. I am also willing to assist with household chores such as cooking, cleaning, pet care, and laundry. Trustworthy, reliable, active, easy-going, and kind are the five adjectives that best describe my personality. When caring for a family, my daily plan would include incorporating exercise, educational activities, and spending quality time outdoors whenever the weather permits. Ideally, the perfect family seeking a nanny like myself would be one that upholds strong morals and values, possesses effective communication skills, and shares a passion for leading an active lifestyle.”

“As a colleague at the Marengo County After School Program, I had the pleasure of knowing Dianna. Her outstanding work with the classes has made the students' transition seamless. Here are my observations of her teaching abilities. Dianna's teaching skills are exceptional. She demonstrates a deep understanding of the subjects and shows versatility in adapting her teaching style to meet the diverse needs of the students. In the classroom, Dianna displays excellent classroom management techniques, maintaining control and employing various strategies. Her authoritative presence earns the students' respect, and she establishes a professional rapport with them. Dianna effortlessly creates a relaxed environment, which encourages students to open up and accept her as their teacher. Her lessons incorporate a wide range of teaching techniques, and she navigates them with confidence. Dianna successfully adjusts her lessons and approaches to cater to the different learning styles of each class. Additionally, she is always tactful and courteous when interacting with students, parents, and colleagues. It is evident that she genuinely cares for her students and goes above and beyond to support their academic success. Throughout her time at our High School, Dianna has shown remarkable growth as a teacher. Personally, she is a joy to work with, and I have complete trust that everything is well-taken care of when I am absent. The qualities mentioned above greatly contributed to a smooth transition for both myself and the students. Dianna's strong work ethic and delightful personality are sure to propel her further as an exceptional teacher.”

“Diana became a valuable addition to the Marengo County After School Program when she joined us at the start of the school year. This opportunity arose when a teacher accepted a position in another district, leaving a void in our staff. Seamlessly, Diana filled that position and quickly familiarized herself with the curriculum, students, their backgrounds, and their individual learning needs. She also established rapport with the rest of the staff. Diana took the existing curriculum and enhanced it by introducing engaging activities and authentic assessments that fully immersed our students. As the coordinator of the program, my responsibilities include organizing a team of approximately 15 staff members. I ensure they are informed about school developments, facilitate professional development activities, and oversee their professional responsibilities. Diana never posed any concerns in this area. She consistently attended and arrived punctually for all obligations, fully prepared and willing to volunteer for additional responsibilities such as open house and SLC activities. Notably, Diana excelled in classroom management, earning the admiration and trust of her students through her warm and engaging teaching style. Simultaneously, she maintained a professional boundary. Beyond her instructional duties, Diana also served as an assistant coach for our school's Swim Team, regularly chaperoned school dances and events, contributed her time to the Marengo County After School Program, and frequently attended student sporting events. In all these roles, Diana radiates a genuine enjoyment for her job and a deep concern for the well-being and success of her students. Consequently, she effortlessly commands her classroom, as students feel safe and strive to please her. Losing Diana would be a great loss for our staff, but a significant gain for any organization fortunate enough to hire her.”

“Dianna's interactions with both the staff and student body in the Marengo County After School Program can be described as being a team player, open-minded, helpful, and professional. Dianna demonstrated her willingness to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed. She actively supported me during conflict resolution sessions, and if the issue escalated, she promptly directed the students to the appropriate staff member. Dianna had a genuine commitment to assisting students in presenting their best work and would diligently collaborate with them to help them reach their full potential. Her calm and approachable demeanor made students feel at ease when speaking with her. Additionally, Dianna employed interactive and enjoyable lessons to engage her students in Social Studies. Working with Dianna this school year has been a pleasure, and I wholeheartedly recommend her for any position!”
