Kent County Nanny Job:

Full Time: Monday through Friday (7:00am-5:30pm)
Children: 2-year-old boy
Salary Offering: $650-$750/week, Based on Experience
Note: Nanny would need to be comfortable giving my son nebulizer treatments when needed. In the past 21 months this has only occurred 3 times.
Children's Activities: Child has been attending music classes and Gymboree/My Gym since he was 8 months old. He’s very creative, loves people, and is very open to new experiences. He is a bright, active child who has been given a lot of stimulation and we would like this to continue.
Position Description: Little boy will be attending a Two's Class on Mon/Wed/Fri at a local Gymboree program from 10am-1pm. I generally work from home on Wed/Fri, so I will try to take him on those days, but I would need the flexibility to know that our nanny could take him if necessary. On Mondays our nanny would need to take him. We would prefer for our nanny to have her own car, however if necessary we will provide one. Daily responsibilities regarding Jonah include dressing him, preparing healthy snacks/meals, overall caring for his general well being, naps, arranging play dates, eventually support potty training, cleaning up after him, etc. On one of the days that Jonah is at class we would like full house cleaning. Also, while in class, light errands such as picking up dry cleaning.

PARENT REQUEST:

"Warm, Nurturing, Level Headed, Open Minded, Trustworthy...these are some of the words that we would use to describe the person we are looking for. Our current nanny has become a part of our family – she has provided peace of mind for me while away I am at work. We want someone who is creative, active, and extremely engaging with my son and a true partner to my husband and I; supporting and extending our beliefs in terms of how we choose to raise our son. We would love someone who has experience at a Kent County Home Health Aide Job who will be comfortable with the occasional nebulizer treatments and will be safety-conscious."

Feel free to read the following reviews from parents who have had great experiences with candidates who have experience like yours.

“Tatiana was an intern in the Department of Surgery for the medical assistant program before starting at her Kent County Home Health Aide Job. She was awesome! She was always on time for work, extremely dependable and a quick learner! Her personality and temperament are excellent for dealing with patients and with children. Tatiana always did her job and she did it very well. I highly recommend Tatiana for a nanny position!”

“Amy and I worked very closely with one another in a special education classroom where the day to day interactions with the children, and sometimes staff, can be very stressful. Not once did Amy exhibit non-professional behavior. All the students loved her! She had a special relationship with all of them and communicated well with them and always had patience for any situation, probably due to her experience with patients at her Kent County Home Health Aide Job. They would come to us at lunchtime to discuss their days and anything else that was on their minds. Amy was always there with an ear to lend and perhaps some appropriate advice to give. The students were lucky to have her! Amy is a kind and loving individual with a solid work ethic. I know that she will be a perfect match for any family lucky enough to have her!”

“Janet was responsible for early morning and afternoon schedules/activities and often through dinner. She is an extremely conscientious and loving person. She took care of my children with love and concern even as we faced difficulties with them. My daughter has significant health problems and we trusted Janet implicitly with her care because of her healthcare background from her Kent County Home Health Aide Job. She is extremely reliable and professional in her work. Any family would be lucky to have Janet working for them!”

“Lydia is a very hard worker and took her job extremely serious, as you must do when you’re watching over children. She did her Kent County Home Health Aide Job to the best of her ability and went above and beyond her call of duty to ensure that the children felt comfortable and at home in her care! Lydia is the type of person who is always eager to do her best at what she is given. Everyday I worked with her was a true blessing. She has a great love for family, friends, and life in general. Lydia will always be very special to my heart, I have a large amount of respect for her and her ability to accomplish her goals!”

“I know Ida on a professional basis as well as personal. As our school nurse, she went above and beyond the typical duties. It is one thing to be qualified to administer care to a child; it's another to administer that care with the same kindness and compassion that the child would receive from his or her own mother. Ida always treated each child with the same compassion as she did her own children. Her experience from her Kent County Home Health Aide Job made her a perfect fit as she was used to being incredibly compassionate with her patients. When I started my career as an elementary teacher, Ida was the school nurse. She was one of the first people in the building to start a friendship with me. She is that type of person. She is very outgoing, kind, and friendly. It didn't take long to notice that she had a special way of dealing with children. When a child came to see her, she greeted them by name (how she knew them all always amazed me). She immediately tended to their needs with that "motherly touch." A simple "Oh, Honey" and a band-aid and ice pack made even a two-week-old scratch feel better. It didn't take me long to realize that some children weren't going to the nurse because of a real injury, but they needed that personalized attention and tender loving care that Ida provided. Ida was patient and kind to each and every one of them. I also witnessed Ida handle emergency medical situations. At times when others panicked, Ida remained calm and handled the situation. Knowing Ida on a personal level also allowed me to meet Ida's two daughters. Ida raised two of the most well-mannered, and respectful teenagers that I know. Both girls have strong morals, and both graduated from high school with honors. Ida always put her daughters first no matter what, and they have a very admirable mother-daughter relationship. I feel that Ida would make an excellent caregiver for any family. She truly loves children and she relates to them so well. I would feel completely comfortable and honored to have Ida take care of my own child. She is trustworthy, kind, and compassionate. She would be a positive influence in the life of any child. It is without hesitation that I highly recommend Ida for a nanny position!”

“I highly recommend Marissa for a nanny position! Our two sons are very active and our youngest child has special needs. For the five months Marissa worked with us at her Kent County Home Health Aide Job, she was very professional and caring! The children both looked forward to the time they spend with her! The only reason Marissa is no longer with us is that we felt we needed full-time live in care, which we presently have. Were it not for this, Marissa would still be our nanny!”
