I am a highly motivated, light hearted, firm, but fair individual with high academic and personal expectations for myself. I enjoy working with children and have been doing so as an educator for the past 15+ years. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other, it would be because of my love for children and my desire to assist families with cultivating and nurturing the young mind and lives of their most prized possessions, their children. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 15+ years and can honestly say I LOVE what I do! I feel the children are impressionable, delicate and the most precious individuals. My goal in a Kitsap County After School Program is to nurture, cultivate and positively influence the lives of the children with whom I am entrusted their care. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am caring, nurturing, and dependable. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include museums, parks, and libraries. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a nanny like me I would hope they would be caring, honest, understanding, and flexible."
