“If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in Ravenna After School Program profession over any other it would have to be because I love children. They bring me happiness watching them play, laugh, learn and grow into smart and intelligent young adults. I feel that children are true gems and have the power to make someone a better person. They are just fun, happy and carefree little people. My goal as a nanny is to make sure the children feel safe and loved. That is my number one priority. Anything else is just a bonus for me, like watching and hearing them laugh, learn, play, and just be children. I am willing to do housekeeping that would include anything that needs to be done; you can count on me. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am loving, caring, nurturing, fun and hard-working. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include outdoor activities and educational games such as playing cards, doing homework, or reading a book. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a nanny like me I would hope they would be kind and caring.”
