“I am a very passionate, patient, nurturing, and loving person. I have been in the Tacoma Nanny Agency for almost 15 years My goals are to provide quality care for children and share my experience and knowledge that I have learned throughout my years with children. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I am ready for a new experience and I would like to make a wonderful experience for a family. “I’ve known Jamie for more than 5 years and can honestly say that she is a very kind, nurturing, loving, calm, and honorable person. Jamie was the primary teacher that was responsible for taking care of both of my children in a childcare center. Jamie was the main teacher in the one year old classroom when my daughter started at the childcare center. Jamie was a wonderful teacher while my daughter was in her care. She was prepared and calm with solid established routines that she maintained with a group of one year old children, which is not an easy task. Jamie took care of my daughter from the time she turned one year old to the time she turned two years old. Jamie always made sure that she read to the children and was very kind and loving with my daughter and all children in the classroom. When my son started at the childcare center I was so happy to learn that Jamie had moved to the infant room and would be taking care of my baby. She took care of my son from the time he was 3 months old until after he turned 1 year. My son has special needs when it comes to his diet and Jamie made sure to learn about his condition and was aware of the importance of adhering to his diet. My son was also seen by a physical therapist at the childcare center where Jamie learned special exercises that he would benefit from for his growth and she made sure that she would work with him while he was in her care to strengthen his muscles. Jamie always showed both my children and all the children that she took care of much love and care. Even after my children grew older and moved onto different classrooms Jamie always made sure that she spoke to both my children, making sure to ask them about their days and their lives at the time. Jamie always made sure to engage my son, which isn’t always the easiest thing to do when she saw him. I took notice of this and it touched my heart and I truly appreciated it. I would recommend Jamie for any position working with children she is a special person that has a beautiful heart. Any family would be lucky to have Jamie as the caretaker of their children.
