Families who have used a Kent County Household Manager love our ABC Nannies like Georgette who loves to show children new and exciting things!

“I feel I am very friendly, have lots of patience, caring, and just adore children. I love to work with children and I find it rewarding. I love to have fun with the children, and on the other hand, the children give me the opportunity to be imaginative and creative. I always love helping children grow in their exploration about life as well as receiving the positive responses from a child. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I love to work with children and watch them learn and teach them new things. I have been a Kent County Household Manager and I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over four years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel children are the best gifts that a family receives. They bring you joy they do the cutest things to put a smile on your face. My goal as a Nanny is to meet regularly with parents to discuss the children’s activities and development, help prepare and serve nutritionally balanced meals and snacks for children, organize and conduct age-appropriate recreational activities, such as games, arts and crafts, sports, walks, and play dates, and instruct children in safe behavior. Keeping the child safe and happy is a must. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes tidying up after the children, laundry, washing dishes, and cleaning their room. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am responsible, dependable, caring, sincere, and organized. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include providing personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others, developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time, performing physical activities, identifying the developmental needs of others, and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be caring, lovable, and friendly. I would also hope they would consider me to be a part of their family!”

“Georgette was quite helpful with the girls. She always made sure that they were happy and occupied. She took great care to make sure the house was neat and organized. She fulfilled all the duties I asked of her and more. Our family thoroughly enjoyed having Georgette with us. The girls were always happy to see her and spend time with her. I grew quite dependent on her and would give her more responsibility with each passing month and she handled the requests easily. We had a very good employer/employee relationship since she was a Kent County Household Manager that has since turned to friendship! She still visits us often.”

“The relationship that Georgette has with my daughter is extremely maternal! My daughter is almost two years old and she has been by my sister’s side since she came home from the hospital. Georgette comes over to comb her hair in the morning, helps her to get dressed for the day, and makes sure that she is fed and at daycare on time. Many mornings I have to be at work early, and I have a long commute, so this becomes a big help when trying to get a busy toddler out the door. Georgette is left many times with this responsibility by herself if circumstances prevent me from being present. She has taught my daughter many things in the twenty months that she has been alive! My daughter knows how to count to ten, and her ABCs. Georgette speaks certain things to her in Spanish, such as “sit down”, “come here”, “give me a kiss”, and “give me bottle”; at twenty months old, my daughter understands and comprehends all of these phrases! She has recently begun the first steps in potty training with her as well. Georgette and my daughter share a special bond as well. My daughter knows when it is time to play and when it’s not. I highly recommend her to be a Kent County Household Manager with your family, because I know that she will bring great joy and compassion!”

“Georgette helped me raise my youngest daughter until she was three years old. Georgette has been so special to our family, and has been instrumental in the growth of my daughter! She is a very loving, warm person who cares deeply about children and her work ethic. She is fabulous with children! She has always been very good with teaching my daughter proper manners, teaching right from wrong, learning her numbers and the alphabet, and reading. Georgette is also very dependable and punctual as well. She exhibits wonderful Kent County Household Manager experience. I would recommend Georgette to anyone who is looking to hire a wonderful Nanny! She will be an inspiration to your children!”
