Please read the reviews below to see what parents have to say about their great experiences with candidates like you!

“Kristy did a very good job for me in taking care of my two children, for the summer when she wasn’t working at her Kent County Companion Care Job, while I worked! She tried hard to please both the 8-year-old girl (with crafts, projects, etc.) and the 11-year-old boy. She did everything I asked including making sure the children had a healthy lunch each day. My home was always neat and clean when I returned. She also did a very good job of getting them to and from swimming and tennis lessons. She is a great nanny!”

“Our school employed Isabelle for the past four summers. Lindsay rejoined our staff as Camp Field Director for the summer when she wasn’t working at her Kent County Companion Care Job. It has been a continuing pleasure to have Isabelle on our staff. Isabelle began working at Laurel Hill as a Counselor. She quickly moved from Counselor to Group Leader. As Group Leader, she was responsible for the wellbeing, safety and management of a group of approximately 14-17 campers. As Camp Field Director, Isabelle was responsible for the emotional needs and social problems of our campers and their counselors. She worked diligently to affect a positive outcome for all involved. Isabelle's interaction with campers and their parents reflected a high level of sensitivity and openness. Isabelle worked independently to promote the stated goals of our camp while remaining a responsible 'team player'. Her participation was always constructive and cheerful. She was always open to incorporate the ideas of others into her plans. Isabelle is a caring, dedicated professional. We strongly recommend her to you. She would certainly be an asset to any family.”

“I would like to recommend Lorraine for the position as a nanny! I have known her for about 10 years through her Kent County Companion Care Job. We consider her part of our family! Both my husband and I have trusted her to watch our two daughters for almost 6 years. Lorraine has always been responsible, caring, and patient with both our girls and I am confident that she will be a great asset to your family!”

“It has been my privilege to work with Ann over the past two years. She is a general educator, who has worked with students identified with both emotional disturbance and learning disabilities. Her experience at her Kent County Companion Care Job made her an indispensable member of our team, as she was always patient and kind with the students. While working with these students, Ann has shown a keen ability to make accommodations and modifications so that the students are taught in a way in which they can access the information. She goes out of her way to collaborate with other teachers in order to meet the needs of students. She became a key member of the Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for the students. Ann has written and implemented IEP goals throughout her stay. As a member of the IEP team, she has challenged us to continually strive to make better more applicable goals for our students. Ann enjoys learning and that love is definitely transferred to her students. She is constantly challenging her students and herself to obtain higher goals. If students struggle, she modifies her teaching so that the student is able to understand the concepts being taught. As well as working well with her students, Ann is a great communicator with her colleagues, with other professionals working with the student, and with our principal. She understands that collaboration is key for the success of students and she does her best to keep open communication with everyone involved with a student. Ann does not believe in sitting on a potentially problematic situation to see what happens, but in addressing it before it becomes an issue. She accomplishes this through her dedication to communication to all parties involved. Your educational team would greatly benefit from having Ann as a part of its team. She is a motivational teacher, who is dedicated to the success of her students.”

“As Principal a Private Academic K-12 Special Ed/Regular Ed School, I hired Cait as a social studies teacher. She helped develop a new social studies curriculum and quickly became a respected member of the faculty. When my reading teacher left the program, I immediately moved Cait into the position. Although she is not certified special education, I knew she would be great because of her experience at her Kent County Companion Care Job; she takes a lead role in preparing IEP, writing goals and leading meetings. She adapts to the many challenges in working with emotionally disturbed children. She employs outstanding classroom management skills and adapts her lesson to meet the needs of each child. She is always prepared and well organized. Her reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner. I can always count on Cait. She is a team player that is respected by students, staff and parents. Having spent 32 years in public education and 18 years and an administrator, I would not hesitate to recommend her. She would be an asset to any family.”

“I work at a Residential Treatment Center for boys with behavioral problems. The center runs a summer camp program for boys age 6-15; there are fifty boys that are involved with the camp. Ina worked for our summer camp one year. I knew she would be a great fit because of her education as well as her experience at her Kent County Companion Care Job. Ina had many roles in our summer camp program but her main role was teacher. She taught many subjects such as Language Arts, Math and even Arts and Crafts. Ina worked well with the children and was always willing to go the extra mile. Ina is able to be very flexible; for instance, if we needed a teacher lead another group Ina was always willing to do so. Ina came to work on time and was always prepared for her class. She would have her lesson planned ahead of time and even have an extra activity just in case something did not go well with the boys. She kept the boys active and eager to learn new things. Ina is able to communicate well with others and also listen and accept criticism from her supervisor. Ina works extremely well with the children and they absolutely loved her. Ina also interacted well with her co-workers. She was able to share responsibilities of the camp duties, such as going on trips and going to the units to help out with the boys. Ina is a great teacher who is capable of handing stressful situations and reacting to them with ease. Ina would do her best at any task given and it was always a pleasure working with her.”
