If you are working at a Kent County Housekeeper Job but are looking for an opportunity to work at a position focused on childcare, apply today for a nanny position!

Kent County Nanny Job:

Full Time: Monday through Friday (11:00am-7:00pm)
Children: 7-year-old girl
Salary Offering: $600-$700/week, Based on Experience
Note: Light housekeeping will be needed.
Children's Activities: Play dates with friends, Encore Club once a week immediately after school, piano lessons once a week, possibly dance lessons, CCD/Catholic Region class one time a week at the local church.
Position Description: I am looking for someone who will be available for Rachael if the school calls with an emergency or sickness and can pick her up if needed (especially if I am out of town). My husband and I will be able to take Rachael to school each day. In the very rare case that both he and I would be out of town and an overnight is needed from the Nanny then she would need to take her to school (this is very rare). The a.m. / early afternoon hours while Rachael is at school would be the time that the Nanny could do some laundry, straighten Rachael’s room, very light house cleaning (we are a neat family), cooking for dinner, run any errands (grocery, cleaners, shopping if I need some things for Rachael, post office, etc). Rachael’s school is about 5 min from our home and school dismissal is promptly at 3 p.m. Rachael will be attending an Encore Class on Mondays in the Fall so the Nanny would pick her up at 4:15 from the school. On Wednesdays, Rachael will have one hour of piano lessons. I would like the Nanny to sit in the class to listen to the instructions and to observe how Rachael is doing. (If the Nanny is musically talented or knows piano, that would be a bonus!) After school and classes, Rachael usually likes to come home to rest a bit, have a snack and maybe watch TV, play with friends or do something fun with the Nanny. Rachael usually eats dinner before Nick and I can get home from work. The Nanny is more than welcome to eat with her. I would like for at least 3 cooked meals to be fixed each week if not each day. It doesn’t have to be fancy, just well balanced. I am unsure about how much homework she will have in 1st grade but I want this to get done earlier than later, preferably before playtime.

PARENT REQUEST:

"I would like a loving, fun, energetic individual who will truly want to be involved with Rachael’s life. Someone who will do homework with her, know her teachers, know her friends and their parents, teach her, be a mentor, a friend and someone Rachael can feel 100% comfortable with. I would like the Nanny to have an education so that she can teach and lead by example. I would like the daily activities to include learning opportunities – arts and crafts, playtime, games, learning activities, museums, or just imaginative play and interaction at home in her room or outside playing. Someone who exhibits and will instill the proper manners as Rachael grows (please and thank you, table manners, etc.). I am looking for an individual that is punctual, outgoing, energetic, enthusiastic, committed, enjoys being with children, loyal and trustworthy. I need to know that this person will always be there and never be late to pick up Rachael. A Nanny that is an excellent communicator who will let us know if there are issues, general updates and alerts if needed, someone who will respond quickly if I am traveling and need to get in touch with her. Someone with experience at a Kent County Housekeeper Job who will be willing and able to do light house cleaning and run a few errands.”

“Ludmila is a very responsible individual. She has cared for my daughter as needed a few times a month while working for me at her Kent County Housekeeper Job. My daughter loves to spend time with her. Ludmila is also trustworthy and honest. I was always comfortable leaving her alone in my home with my child. She is a wonderful caregiver. I highly recommend her!”

“Cassandra has been employed by me at her Kent County Housekeeper Job for over 3 years. She cared for two of my children and performed household duties. She was a motivated, responsible, and dedicated employee. My children loved when she cared for them because she always played games or came up with fun activities to entertain them! I believe Cassandra will be an excellent choice to care for your children!”

“My family and I adore Carla! She always fulfilled all of her Kent County Housekeeper Job requirements, and she was delightful! She most definitely has a gift for working with children. She always communicated well with my family, and me and was both punctual and conscientious at all times. She always kept my children active; I never came to find them in front of the TV. I really appreciated how interactive she was with my children, and you will be too!”

“I was very impressed with Maggie's work. My child loved her! She handled every aspect of her Kent County Housekeeper Job with professionalism and kept everything orderly/neat. If I needed her full time I would hire her again. My first impression of Maggie was that she too young and would have experienced problems, but I was wrong. She adapted quickly to her environment and utilized what was at her disposal to provide my child with an environment in which she learned and felt safe!”

“I have two boys, now 9 and 12. Tina has full filled all objectives given to her on a daily basis and more when time allotted. We hired her initially in a Kent County Housekeeper Job but kept her on when we needed childcare. She taught my boys unique ways in learning techniques; they use this in school and homework. She plays with them and gets the respect from them. She is always on time. Stays extra if needed. I never had a problem with her. She will cook healthy foods and unless instructed will not serve them fast food. She stays within the budget given. Tina is like Alice (Brady Bunch) in that she plays with them, cooks, cleans, multitask, helps homework, and gives advice, always quick on emergency, creative, for me a great person to talk to. My boys are very mischievous, she can handle. There are no surprises. She fits in great. I am a single parent. I tell Tina exactly what I expect to be done for the day and week. Tina would fit in a daily routine for them. When time allotted she make them read or do math, anything to do with learning. She has stayed with me when they were extremely sick. My youngest had suffered from asthma when he was small. So you can imagine how to juggle one sick and the other boy who wants attention. Tina has come with me to emergency room visits. When I needed her the most she would be there. I always informed their whereabouts and was given a full days account. Tina has a great knack with kids. I don't think there is a child out there she cannot handle. Takes them to playgrounds. She is literately playing with my boys. She makes them feel special and loved. I want my boys to always feel comfortable, special, loved, and someone they can turn to when I am not there. That's Tina!”

“Children feel comfortable confiding in her as well as, feel safe and alive when with her. My experience with Yvonne is one in which she worked for me at a Kent County Housekeeper Job in addition to providing childcare for my eight year old son Jemel for 6 months. Before Yvonne came along Jemel had difficulty completing school assignments as well, as was non-interested in outside activities due to my separation with his father. In a matter of a month's Yvonne managed to get Jemel motivated academically and, intrigued enough by softball to join a neighborhood little league team. As a parent I was ever so grateful to have such dedicated help but, soon was unable to keep her service due to financial hardship of which Yvonne graciously stayed on to help for an additional week while I made new arrangements!”
