“I have worked with Amy for three years at her New Castle County Education Job at Charter School. I have had the pleasure of working as Amy’s Lead Teacher as well as Mentor Teacher for the Delaware Statewide Teacher Mentor Program. These two positions have provided me frequent opportunities to work closely with Amy observing her classroom, sharing teaching techniques and working as a member of a team. Amy works on the Kindergarten Team consisting of five teachers and five paraprofessionals. Amy has shown an ability to work well with a variety of children, parents and staff members in an urban setting. She possesses a desire to see each child in her classroom succeed. She cares for and respects her students. Amy expresses loving demeanor when working in her classroom! Amy is always open to new ideas and implementing them in her classroom. She continues to learn and grow each day as a teacher! I have worked with Amy planning lessons as part of the kindergarten team. She always volunteers to help out when needed. Amy especially likes to complete projects for the team related to technology. She and two other teachers gather ideas weekly from our teaching team to include in the Kindergarten Newsletter for our parents. Amy would be a positive, enthusiastic addition to any staff!”

“I am a kindergarten teacher and have worked with Cassandra for over 5 years. Cassandra joined our kindergarten team with a fresh determination and a willingness to work together with her fellow teammates to create a positive learning environment for our students at her New Castle County Education Job! She is a valuable member of our team and has helped to enhance our school climate! Cassandra has taken the lead in many of our team responsibilities. She is reliable, dependable, and does not hesitate to offer assistance when needed.”

“When it comes to caring about the children in our care, Lynne gives 100% in the attention and care that children deserve. Her patience and understanding for the children in her class at her New Castle County Education Job are unparalleled to others, particularly with the age group that Lynne works with, where patience and understanding can be tested daily. She maintains her composure and always puts the children and their families best interest before any others.”

“Of the numerous daycare workers I have encountered, Kasie is by far one of the prominent teachers I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I was always impressed by her level of professionalism and creativity when it came to the children at the center. I saw her form indissoluble bonds with almost ever child she has taught at her New Castle County Education Job. The parents of the children cannot say enough about her and many of them continue to visit her daily with thanks and gratitude. Kasie goes above and beyond the duties of a daycare worker and treats every single child as if they were her own. She is always on the floor with the children, interacting with them one-on-one and continually coming up with fresh, creative ideas to have the children playing while learning at the same time.”

“It is a pleasure to have known Gina for over 3 years now. As my sons teacher I have had the opportunity to communicate with Gina on a daily basis. Gina is a totally competent organized teacher at her New Castle County Education Job. She is outgoing and very open. By communicating both verbally and in writing, Gina informs me of all daily activities as well important personal concerns of my child. Under Gina’s care, my son has developed considerably. His verbal development has grown tremendously primarily due to Gina’s ability to provide fun. Hands on experiences in her classroom. On a personal level Gina is a person of moral character. She is a very loving and nurturing individual, taking pride in all of her children. It is without any hesitation that I recommend Gina to any position working with children!”

“Madeline and I have worked together for three years at her New Castle County Education Job. She is an integral part of our school operations from her help with the students to her knowledge of school operations and functions. Madeline aided me in my pre-first classroom for a year. This was a group of fifteen mixed ability children deemed "not quite ready" for first grade by their kindergarten teachers. Madeline took small groups of children and helped them with everything I needed, from fine motor skills to name writing to literacy skills to basic math skills. Madeline did just about anything I asked. The children, and I, really appreciated having her in our class. It was a difficult situation to be in, and I wouldn't have made it through without her assistance. At the time, none of our students were identified as needing “special education” services, but, to date, four have been identified and three more are on the list to be tested. Madeline was a huge help in providing the interventions and documentation to provide those children with the help they need. It is a pleasure to work with Madeline. She is a very responsible, caring and helpful young woman. She would be an asset to anyone who would choose to employ her.”
