If you feel that all of the multitasking that you do at your New Castle County Entry Level Job would be put to better use in a childcare position, you should apply for a nanny position!

New Castle County Nanny Job:

Full Time: Tuesday through Thursday (8:00am-6:00pm)
Children: 2 boys – 4 years old and 7 months old
Salary Offering: $13-$15/hour, Based on Experience
Note: Our oldest son has a severe peanut allergy. We do not keep anything with peanuts in the house and insist that no peanuts or tree nuts or products with them in them be brought into the house. We do have epi pens (everywhere!) and have been told it would be unlikely we’d ever have to use them but we need it to be understood that he be kept away from anything peanut/tree nut. Thankfully he hates peanuts so he has a keen sense of when they are around. Inadvertent exposure is what’s most likely If taking our children anywhere like the above mentioned, it must be told right away that has a peanut allergy and to use clean utensils, kitchenware etc in preparing his food. Most places quickly and efficiently oblige.
Children's Activities: The four-year-old loves to ride his bike, play on the swing set in our backyard, and swim in the pool, typical backyard play. He also loves all things boy: Star Wars, Transformers, building blocks, and dinosaurs. He also loves games and puzzles. Our baby is the most relaxed baby we have ever met! He is perfectly content to do anything and eat anything! There is no other way to describe him, just a very happy baby!
Position Description: Provide breakfast, lunch and dinner for the children. Drop off and pick up oldest at pre-school (he is in school 9am - 3pm Tues, Wed & Thu). Play with them, engage the baby, take them outdoors whenever possible, even for a stroll in the neighborhood. Read to them, do arts and crafts when you can. If the nanny can do any simple housework like laundry it would be HUGELY helpful for me. I don’t expect her to do any cooking for my husband and myself but perhaps and food prep for our meals would be hugely appreciated as well.

“I met Malorie through her New Castle County Entry Level Job. She is a very creative and inspirational person! She is caring and patient with others. I once, witnessed her stopping at a roadside accident to she if she could help the individuals involved. A car struck a pedestrian who could not speak English. She knelt beside him and calmed him until help arrived. She will always try to assist anyone in need. If I had children of my own I would not hesitate about asking Malorie to care for my child, in fact she would be the first person I would ask! I truly believe she would do everything within her power to keep a child safe. She is also very engaging and has a natural way with children. She is very knowledgeable with arts and crafts and would be very good at teaching that skill to others!”

“Norah surely did fulfill all of her requirements! I could always depend on the children to be all well taken care of when she was around. It was hard to deal with different sitters when she wasn’t available to work extra hours because she was working at her New Castle County Entry Level Job. But she decided to jump in and take those hours as well so we wouldn’t have to stress out. So we always appreciate her for that. Till this day, I still maintain that she’s the best nanny my families ever had. I don’t know whether it had to do with the work ethic that she had or the love she had for my children. Everyone in my family used to say that she treated my kids like they were her own. So I always appreciated knowing the love and generosity she showed to my babies. We still maintain an ongoing friendship until this day!”
