Sussex County Nanny Job:

Full Time: Monday through Friday (7:45am-5:45pm)
Children: 2-year-old girl and 5-year-old boy
Salary Offering: $600-$700/week, Based on Experience
Note: Currently, our 2 year old has an issue with biting friends at daycare. We are working with a psychologist to help us change the behavior and we think another childcare solution is the answer. We have tips for redirecting Maggie that we want a nanny to implement.
Children's Activities: Maggie - everything! She is very energetic and wants to do everything her brother does; she is always on the move. She especially enjoys reading books, playing with a dollhouse, puzzles, and playing outside. Robert - he will be at camp for the summer and in kindergarten in the fall. He enjoys all sports, building with Legos and Knex, and books.
Position Description: Anticipated average day: 1) helping us get Robert out the door in the morning, although that might be complete by the time the nanny arrives 2) providing a structured day for Maggie - activities and/or outings in the morning with snack time followed by lunch and a nap. 3) Picking up Robert at school in the afternoon during the summer and meeting him at the bus stop in the afternoon around 3:30pm. 4) Afternoon snack and activities for both kids 5) dinner prep for them before leaving We would like for the nanny to do the kids laundry and change their bed linens weekly or as needed. Maggie is engaged in potty training and we would need that to continue. As far as outings go - there are many things to do near our house including a library, park, sports fields, the zoo, arboretum, etc.

PARENT REQUEST:

"We would like some one who is energetic, warm, creative, responsible, and has a positive attitude. We’d love someone who’s experienced from a Sussex County Education Job. Also - someone who likes dogs!"

If you are working at a Sussex County Education Job but are looking for a position that will allow you to work with fewer children in a new environment, you should apply for a nanny position today! Your experience and education are both important qualities that parents seek out in nannies. Please continue reading to see the kind things that people have said when writing recommendations for candidates like you!

“Catherine has a lot of energy! She is a hard worker and she worked well with all of the children that ranged from infants, toddlers, and elementary aged children. Catherine’s prior work experience at her Sussex County Education Job came in very handy because she was able to assist the children with different learning methods. I would definitely recommend her for a nanny position!”

“I would like to give Katie my highest level of recommendation! She has worked as a substitute teacher at Chelsea Piers Kids Child Care center and Preschool for 2 years. Each classroom at our center has its own rhythm and whenever Katie enters a classroom to substitute at her Sussex County Education Job, she quickly adapts and does what is needed. She most frequently works in the Infant Classroom, caring for and teaching children 3 months old to 1-½ years old. Katie has developed bonds with not only the children, but also their families. Parents have come to me and asked why Katie cannot permanently work in the Infant Room. That is perhaps my only complaint about her, that she is not a full-time teacher here for our Infant Room!

“Gloria has learned the schedules and needs of the Infants under her care very quickly and thoroughly. She has a wonderful instinct when in comes to interacting with Infants at her. Her soft and gentle manner is easy for them to respond to. Her communication with the parents is thoughtful and informative. As a substitute at her Sussex County Education Job, Gloria works with many different teams of teachers during her days here. She is very friendly and kind, getting along with all of her coworkers very well! Teachers and assistant teachers are always very happy to learn she will be in their classroom for the day. As a director, when a teacher calls me at 7:00am telling me he/she is too sick to come into work, knowing that Gloria is on my substitute staff is a true reassurance that the day can still run smoothly. She is always willing to come in with a couple short hours notice. She is extremely responsible in being punctual and her attendance-for pre-scheduled days is nearly perfect. Any organization that requires dependability, friendliness and professionalism would be fortunate to have Gloria on her staff. Her customer service skills are excellent and we, meaning the rest of the staff of Chelsea Piers and the families at our Center, only wish she could be with us more often!”

“Ida served as a substitute teacher assistant to a group of developmentally, delayed primary school children with physical and mental disabilities in my classroom. During the time she spent in my classroom at her Sussex County Education Job, she exhibited a most dependable and conscientious approach towards her obligation in the classroom. Ida’s sensitivity and compassion are most evident in all of her interactions with children. She pays attention to details and needs of the students. She is a hardworking and conscientious individual. Ida works well with faculty and staff as well. She maintains the highest professionalism in all of her interactions. Ida is a dedicated individual and will make an excellent Nanny especially children with special needs. I highly recommend her!”

“Larissa and I worked on the same team for about 5 years. She was my assistant helping me write lessons, built lesson props, and discussing interventions on how to help the children and their families to improve their life. Larissa has an ability to discern a need before it is even mentioned. She made me look very good as a divisional leader at her Sussex County Education Job. What I admire the most and appreciate about Larissa is how she is a very good judge of character, and her patience with the children and teenagers she has been working with. She is a good listener and never judges, she is most concern about helping and teaching people in being successful in their life. Children are drawn to Larissa because of her friendly and easy going personality; she is open and accepts everyone! Larissa is always improving herself by learning new abilities; she has been learning sign language! I highly recommend her!”

“Hannah has served both as a substitute aide for the past year in my class and as a One-on-one aide at her Sussex County Education Job. The class consists of children who are developmentally delayed with significant mental and physical disabilities. They range in age from eight years of age to ten years of age. Hannah has been a real asset to our class since she first began with us. She is both reliable and consistent in her assigned duties and she takes the initiative when it is appropriate. She possesses a caring and kind demeanor. She treats all of the children with respect and compassion. Hannah is devoted to her work and she is a very conscientious person. She also works well with the other personnel throughout the school. I would highly recommend Hannah for the position of a Nanny!”
