If you are working at a Sussex County Elderly Care Job but find that you have energy to spare at the end of the day, you should apply for a nanny position and run after children all day!

Sussex County Nanny Job:

Full Time: Monday through Friday (7:00am-5:00pm)
Children: 10-month-old girl
Salary Offering: $600-$700/week, Based on Experience
Note: She has urinary reflux, which makes her more likely to get a kidney infection if she gets a urinary tract infection, but she has had only one urinary tract infection since birth so I don’t anticipate that this will be a problem. She takes antibiotics every evening (which we will dispense). The nanny will just need to be aware of the medication in case of emergencies. Also, the antibiotic makes her sensitive to the sun.
Children's Activities: She enjoys listening to music. She seems to enjoy playing with other children (she is in daycare now). She also really likes looking at books, as well as eating them.
Position Description: She may be responsible for getting our daughter up and dressing her (depending on her sleeping schedule). She will be responsible for changing her diapers, changing her clothes if soiled, feeding her, preparing simple meals (for our daughter), putting her down for naps, and entertaining her, which may include reading to her, singing to her, playing with her with her toys, taking her on walks or driving her to parks, libraries etc, and doing art projects with her. If the nanny would like to assist with simple household tasks, such as doing our daughters laundry or straightening the house, we would be delighted (but this is not a requirement).

PARENT REQUEST:

"She must be conscientious, responsible, caring and patient. We would also like her to be innovative and creative with respect to the activities she designs to enrich our child’s life. We need someone energetic and enthusiastic who maybe has worked at a Sussex County Elderly Care Job and will forward to coming to play with and care for our daughter each day. We would consider a bilingual nanny as a plus! "

“Anita was employed with my family for almost a year. She helped care for my husband at her Sussex County Elderly Care Job until he passed away. Anita was capable and very willing to learn and be helpful in any way that required. She took care of all of the household cleaning and laundry details with great efficiency. She has some cooking skills and was eager to use them if it was needed. I found Anita to be of good character and totally reliable. She has a very kind personality. When occasionally caring for my grandchildren, I found her to be especially warm and responsive to their needs. I can confidently recommend Anita as a trustworthy and excellent employee!”

“My mother, who is 95 years old, fractured her pelvis. Upon her release from the rehab center, she wished to return home for several months before entering an assisted living center. At that point, we hired Lillian for a full-time live-in Sussex County Elderly Care Job companion and care giver. She worked for the four-month period. Lillian is a treasure! Lillian is honest, loyal, caring, attentive, hardworking, intelligent, patient and efficient. She often went beyond the bounds of anything we ever asked or expected her to do; e.g. she washed the windows and cleaned the kitchen cabinets on her own. I truly believe that because of Lillian my mother's physical and psychological condition improved to one far better than before she fell. An insight: on most evenings while my mother watched television, Lillian would sit for hours at the kitchen table studying English grammar; working to become comfortable with the language and to improve herself. My mother and Lillian quickly grew to love one another. An example: when my mother was ready to enter an assisted living facility, it was Lillian who washed her clothes, packed her bags and drove her to the facility and helped her settle into her unit. I have attempted to demonstrate that those qualities of character that Lillian possesses would be assets in many different types of work environments. I highly recommend Lillian for any position for which she applies!”

“I always refer to Marianne as my “work mom”! I am 31 years old, and I still lean on her. I am diabetic, and Marianne has, numerous times helped me out! She always is the go to girl, and knows what to do in all situations. She has raised 3 beautiful and successful daughters! Even the patients that we used to treat at our Sussex County Elderly Care Job would comment on Marianne’s pleasant demeanor. She is the most helpful, most caring individual I have ever met! I cannot express the gratitude I feel for all she’s done for me!”

“I take great pleasure in recommending Patty as a nanny. For about five years, she worked part time in our home taking care of our daughter, who was a toddler at the time, on the days we needed help in addition to working at her Sussex County Elderly Care Job. Patty was like a second mother to my daughter Olivia, but never undermined our role as parents. She developed a strong bond with her, as she is a very friendly and sensitive person when it comes to dealing with children. Patty was incredibly organized; she prepared my daughter’s meals, read books, did arts and crafts, took her to play dates, helped with her laundry if it needed to be done and even took on household tasks tiding up while my daughter napped. Her first priority was always Olivia, however. She is just an incredible person to have work for you. Patty was unwaveringly loving toward our child. Her judgment was always impeccable, and we knew our daughter was safe with her. You will not be disappointed if you hire Patty as your nanny.”

“Irene volunteers to love the little ones once a month. I often call her to come in to fill in for another volunteer who is unable to fulfill his or her scheduled childcare evening. She performs her duties very well and is always reliable, patient and kindhearted. Irene and I have volunteered together in the nursery. Recently, I took a position as "nursery coordinator." I now schedule and oversee the nursery ministry on Saturday evenings. Irene is always very reliable. If Irene is on the schedule, I can be sure that she will always show up even though she is also busy with her Sussex County Elderly Care Job. From time to time, things get busy, which leaves me scrambling to replace someone at the last minute. Irene is so reliable! Irene is patient and loving and genuinely cares about the children. I love how she cares for the infants and toddlers!”

“Tina has been working in the capacity of Sunday school teacher for the last five years in addition to working her hectic schedule at her Sussex County Elderly Care Job. The Sunday school class consists of students ranging from the age of two to thirteen. The children are divided into age appropriate groups and we would rotate the teacher every week. The curriculum and crafts are geared toward each age group. As the leader of the children's ministry, I would say that Tina is a very reliable and dependable individual. She takes her responsibility quite seriously, and works very hard to ensure that all of the students have a clear understanding of the materials being taught. She is very attentive to the students and will try to meet all of their needs. She is overall, a hard worker and the children's ministry benefit tremendously from her. I highly recommend her to any position where she works with children.”
