ABC’s Nanny Agency in Berks County is thrilled to welcome nannies like Kelly, whose devotion to and experience with children makes her a fabulous match to any family!

"Once I get to know someone I am pretty outgoing. I am kind, loving, caring, and like to have fun. I would do anything to help out a friend or family member. I’ve been working with families for many years now. I enjoy it because it allows parent to continue to do what they have to do in order to support their family. Being there for a family reassures them that someone who cares and is trustworthy is there for their children. I want parents to be able to go about their work lives and know that their children are safe and are being exposed to as many opportunities as possible by doing things that children do in order to grow and learn about themselves. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I enjoy learning and helping children learn. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 10 years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are unique in their own ways. My goal as a Nanny is to expose children to as many opportunities as possible whether it be sports, homework, the outdoors, games, books, etc. I am willing to do housekeeping at the children requests that includes laundry, dishes, light housecleaning. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am punctual, optimistic, organized, proactive, patient. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include preparing daily meals, daily activities (indoor and outdoor), learning experiences (reading books, games). If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me through ABC’s Nanny Agency in Berks County I would hope they would be close knit!"

“Kelly has helped us with our children for the past 10 years. She has always been flexible and extremely accommodating. She is kind, sensitive, well mannered, and is so good with children. Kelly will make a great mom one day, and she will be fabulous for any Nanny Agency in Berks County. We love her, and our children adore her.”

“I observed Kelly teaching in a first grade regular education classroom for one semester. The four lessons that I saw were primarily focused on: reading, math, social studies and life science. During each observation she demonstrated: consistent growth, steady improvement, genuine effort and enjoyed success with the students. Her most successful traits as a student teacher were: lesson planning and implementation, including focusing on the appropriate state learning/performance standards; a positive, friendly, professional, enthusiastic and assertive student-teacher relationship; utilization of creative motivational/relevance elements in each lesson: attention to student behavior/class management; lessons that involved the pupils as active participants: and the inclusion of multiple learning activities in the lesson. Her efforts to locate, prepare, and implement instructional materials and effective teaching strategies, that were potentially both curriculum focused and interesting for the pupils were usually successful in each observation. Four specific examples of her successful teaching strategies/efforts were her: ability to identify and utilize a book as a motivational tool that was relevant to the main topic of each of the tour lessons, consistent effort to include multiple activities into each of the lessons, attempts to provide opportunities for the pupils to physically move around whenever possible during the lessons and consistent efforts to deal with students who at times were difficult distraction problems for whomever was leading the lesson. She managed to have a positive rapport with the pupils even though she consistently worked very hard to make sure that their behavior was appropriate during the lesson. Her relationship with her cooperating teacher ended up being very good. Initially the cooperating teacher had some reservations about a difficult class and a student teacher. The two of them worked this out very well. In lact there were specific comments from the cooperating teacher about her: hard work, dependability, preparation, personal demeanor with the pupils, initiative, and positive attitude towards the student teaching experience. She responded favorably to suggestions for improvement in her teaching whether they were from her cooperating teacher and/or me. She incorporated these suggestions into her future lessons. I highly recommend Kelly to be seriously considered for employment at your Nanny Agency in Berks County.”

“Kelly was an excellent caretaker of my children. She was dependable and took great care of my children by playing with them and interacting with them as well as working with my oldest on his reading and numbers. Her mild mannered disposition fits well while working with the children as she has the right approach to working with them. She is true to her word and very dependable. She has watched them after the specified dates above, and my children loved having her care for them. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking assistance with caring for their children. I met Kelly when my children were young and I needed someone trustworthy, dependable and fun to watch my children. She got along great with both my son and daughter, and did different activities to engage them and keep them busy. She was able to have them settle down when they got tired and they listened and followed her direction. Kelly’s warm, child-friendly demeanor fits well in her pursuit of working with children. Kelly would be an asset to any family looking through a Nanny Agency in Berks County for someone to love, care for and protect their children.”

“Kelly was the best caretaker we ever had for our child. Any Nanny Agency in Berks County would be lucky to have her!”
