Frequently Asked Questions

From registration to hiring, how long does the usual process take? You can find out by visiting this link: registration.

Each household will experience this process differently. After evaluating three to five candidates, most families tend to hire a Nanny. Our goal is to offer ongoing support and help you find the perfect candidate for your family as efficiently as possible!

Hours of Operation?

Our dedicated team of ABC Nanny Source placement counselors is readily available to assist you Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9am and 5pm.

How many nannies are currently accessible?

We have a steady supply of Nannies available for placement throughout the year. Nevertheless, there is a significant demand for the exceptional quality of our high caliber Nannies, which occasionally limits their availability. We refuse to compromise our stringent procedures just to have a large pool of Nannies to select from. Our meticulous selection process sets our Nannies apart from the competition!

Inquiring about the process of tax management is an important aspect to consider. Inquiring about the process of tax handling, one may wonder: How are taxes managed? How are taxes addressed? How are taxes dealt with? How are taxes taken care of? How are taxes handled in practice?

When it comes to household employee payroll, there is one company that stands out from the rest - GTM Payroll Services. If you are considering hiring an ABC Nanny, we highly recommend utilizing GTM Payroll Services. This resource has an excellent reputation among our families and nannies and specializes in handling all aspects of household employee payroll. By partnering with GTM Payroll Services, you can ensure a smooth and efficient payroll process for your household staff.

Should I provide any additional benefits to the nanny apart from the ones mentioned earlier? Are there any other perks I should consider offering to the nanny?

Despite not determining the benefits, ABC Nanny Source encourages families to offer competitive benefit packages in order to attract and retain highly sought-after Nannies. It is essential for families to consider including vacation time off, typically two weeks for full-time positions (with one week coinciding with the family vacation and another week at the nanny's discretion), paid major holidays, and paid sick time in their benefits package.

Are we obligated to employ the nanny we hire for a minimum of one year?

No, the Nanny and ABC Nanny Source bear the entire obligation. Your family is not obligated to continue the nanny's salary or employment if you no longer need her services. ABC Nannies must sign a one year commitment pledge, and the agency provides a one year guarantee in case things do not work out with the hired nanny. However, your family does not have any obligation to continue her salary if you no longer require nanny services for any reason such as relocation, parent unemployment, or a decision for the mother to stay home. This benefit surpasses that of AuPair Agencies and agencies providing nannies from outside the local area.

Is there any kind of training involved in becoming a Nanny in MT?

All applicants must have a valid CPR Certification before being accepted into our database at ABC Nanny Source.

How does the one-year guarantee work?

Simply put, if for any reason within the one year time period your nanny does not work out, we will gladly start a new nanny search for your family and provide our support in selecting a replacement. It is important to note that this occurrence is rare, and we take pride in rarely needing to initiate this process.

Do you have bi-lingual nannies?

Yes, it is mandatory for all nannies to be proficient in spoken, written, and reading English. Additionally, numerous professional nannies in our database are also fluent in other languages, including Spanish, French, and even Sign Language. If this is a preference you have, kindly inform the assigned placement counselor for your family. They will take this into consideration while selecting the most suitable candidates for your position.

This means that every candidate your family considers will be conveniently local!

We only need an occassional weekend babysitter – Can you help with that?

No, every ABC Nanny is actively pursuing career opportunities instead of temporary or occasional assignments. Our part-time Nannies, who are looking for a long-term commitment, must work a minimum of 25 hours per week.

What is the cost involved in hiring a MT nanny through ABC Nanny Source?

If you are looking for Full Time Live Out or Live In Nannies, ABC Nanny Source offers a great service. Our Full Time Live Out and Live In Nannies are available to help with your weekly needs for 40 to 55+ hours per week. The fee for this service is 14% of the Nanny's anticipated gross salary, with a minimum charge of $3400. Additionally, we proudly provide a ONE-YEAR GUARANTEE to ensure your satisfaction.
Part Time Live Out Nannies are available to help with weekly requirements ranging from 25 to 39 hours per week. The fee for these nannies is set at 16% of their expected gross salary, with a minimum charge of $2800. Additionally, we provide a one-year guarantee for all our placements. ONE-YEAR GUARANTEE

How do you specifically choose the nannies for our particular family?

When "harmonizing" Nannies with Families, several aspects are considered. One crucial factor is the distance for live-out candidates. Each live-out nanny is placed within a 30-minute radius of their home, ensuring that candidates presented to your family are local and familiar with the area. Another important consideration is that each prospective nanny must feel completely comfortable with your family's description and the unique needs and requests you have. Rest assured that we will only recommend candidates who have experience and are comfortable caring for children of your specific age group. For example, if you have a newborn, we will only present you with candidates who have experience with and love working with babies. Additionally, your counselor will carefully select nannies who fit within the salary range specified on your family application. During the initial consultation, your counselor will ask questions to understand the specific qualities you desire in a candidate, such as being bubbly, professional, religious, nurturing, etc. We also take into consideration any pets your family may have, as this could affect the nanny's allergies. The matching process involves a lot of effort, but it is all done with the purpose of achieving the desired results.

How do I know that every candidate that I'm considering is safe?

When inviting someone into your home, it is important to have a rigorous screening process in place. Thats why we have developed our meticulous 10 Step Screening Process, which includes various measures to ensure the safety and trustworthiness of our nannies. These steps encompass verifying all references provided, conducting thorough criminal background checks, obtaining clearances, conducting negative 5 panel drug tests through Quest Diagnostics, verifying vehicle registration, professionally confirming identity, and ensuring CPR certifications are up-to-date. We believe in going above and beyond to guarantee that only reliable and qualified nannies are introduced to your family.
