“I really thought when I started interviewing Nannies it would take weeks to weed out the good Nannies, but I was so pleased to find that ABC Nanny Source only sent qualified candidates who were professional and experienced. We chose our Nanny the same week we registered and she has been wonderful! The hardest part of the process was deciding between the great candidates!”

"For all of my life my father has worked full time practicing law and my mother has worked at least part time practicing law and volunteered the rest of her time in the community and with our schools. I had a great childhood! One of the main reasons why I want to work with children is to share and protect that innocence in their lives. One of the most important things that I learned from my parents, especially my mom, was the ability to travel and adapt to new situations easily. In January of 2003 I began volunteering in the children's ministry. I worked as a volunteer with the church from the beginning of 2003 until September of 2004, when I moved to London. While volunteering, I taught small groups of 1st and 2nd grade girls and all the elementary school children on Sunday mornings. I supervised the preschool on Sunday mornings, accompanied children to the zoo, national parks, and the movies. In August of 2003 I began working as an assistant teacher for the 3 and 4 year old class. While working there I learned so much about how children respond to the different ways adults talk to them, the ways they learn, and their enjoyment for life. I enjoyed being able to hang out with these children in their home environments, and being able to see how they react to the everyday things around them as well as new things that children discover everyday. In October 2004 I moved to London to study children's ministry with a mission organization. While in London, and as part of my study I worked with a church in their Children's Ministry department. I did a lot of work with inner city children of all backgrounds. While in London I learned even more about how children from different backgrounds and life's learn and interact with their peers as well as with adults I feel that working with children is the right career path for me! I want to be a nanny because the area of children's work that I enjoy the most is the one-on-one interaction and teaching life skills and personal growth. I feel like it is so important to protect the innocence of children while helping them and watching them grow into amazing adults. I have been serving in some form of childcare for over five years and can honestly say love what I do! I feel children are an adventure; a tool to help every adult learn more about them selves; and our future! My goal as a Nanny is to provide safety and a watchful eye; I am there to help parents teach their children great life skills and personal growth, while protecting the innocence and fun of being a child. Whatever I do with a child to help them grow must be done along side the parents. I love doing art and exploration projects or events with children. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be welcoming, and helpful!"

"I love children! I think they are so sweet, smart, and adoring, and my goal in life is to work with them! I am an honest, reliable, energetic person! If I was asked why I have chosen to be in the nanny profession over any other, it would have to be because I love children, and I love working with them! I am willing to do housekeeping that includes meal preparation and light cleaning. If I was asked to describe the perfect family seeking a nanny like me, I would like them to be fun, accepting, and very loving!!"

"I come from a home with both mother and father and an older sister. Growing up was a very positive experience for me as my parents were very involved in each aspect of my life. I might say that we were an "All American" family in that both parents worked, we took music lessons, had family vacations, ate dinner together, and were given opportunities that not every family gets to have. I believe that my life has truly formed my character. I am always eager to please people and put my best foot forward! I love to kick back and have fun and enjoy being outdoors when the weather is nice! I am very sensitive and compassionate, generally soft-spoken but very personable! I want to be a Nanny because it utilizes my skills, gifts, and talents in many ways! I also enjoy spending time with children; they make me laugh and give me joy! I believe children are precious and individually unique. They are sensitive individuals that deserve all the love in the world, and I would love to be able to give that to them! I have been in childcare for over 7 years and can honestly say I enjoy what I do! My goal as a Nanny is to provide children with opportunities to expand areas of development. I want to inspire the children I care for and serve and someone they look up to a positive mentor or role model! I am willing to do any housekeeping at the family's request! I would love to include daily activities such as outdoor play, any creative activities, and reading! I am very excited about being a Nanny and meeting your family!"

"I am a loving and honest person but can be firm when necessary! I come from a loving family with two brothers. Every Friday my husband, two older children and I have family night! I feel to have constant communication with your family you need to take time out of your schedule and make this happen. Every night we eat dinner together and talk about what is going on in our daily lives. I want to become a Nanny because I've worked in the corporate atmosphere for most of my life. When my children were small I used to nanny for four other children. I really miss being a part of teaching children right from wrong, and being a part of molding them to become smart, healthy individuals! I love to cook healthy nutritious meals! Currently I am in the process of cooking for friends who are on a weight watchers program so they get the correct portions and proper nutrition to achieve their weight goals. They can't thank me enough knowing they are eating healthy and the proportions are perfect. Just knowing that I can make people feel better, by either cooking or helping a child learn to tie their shoes or spell their name is a reward that you will keep forever in your heart. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because there are too many innocent children that are lacking the basic values of respect and emotional nurturing needed to become a well rounded individual. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 19 years and can honestly say I enjoy what I do! I feel children are being cheated from their creativity and imagination with this electronic age! I feel children should learn by example. We need to stop and remember the reason we had children! We need to get down on the floor and play games and teach them right from wrong. We need to praise them when they do well and scold them when they are bad. We need to just stop and hug them and say 'I love you!' My goal as a Nanny is to bring back creativity and imagination into a child's world and fill their days with affection, teachings and how to respect others! I would help them understand they need to contribute with chores around the house. I would give the parents ease of mind that their children are being taking care of, like they would be doing under different circumstance. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes meal preparation, homework assistance, transportation to and from activities and light housekeeping. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am assertive, flexible, resourceful, reliable and dependable! Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include playing games, going outside and crafting. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would have the same family values in which I have incorporated into my own family, show their children they can be imaginative and creative and are able to build a sound family foundation!"

"I am a very outgoing person who loves to have fun! I presently don’t have children of my own, but I love to be around them! I am always baby-sitting my nieces and nephews, and children in the neighborhood. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I simply love children! They are our future and Nannies will always be in demand. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 11 years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel children are the most important focus in our lives. My goal as a Nanny is to provide as much of my time and patience to the children and to build a trusting relationship with the family. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes laundry, dusting, sweeping, mopping, transportation to and from activities, and meal preparation. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am caring, dependable, honest, respectful and loving! Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include reading, board games, singing songs, bike riding, trips to the park and community events, and celebrating birthday parties! Children love to have fun and I love to share the fun with them! If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be friendly and trustworthy!"

"I am a very optimistic person who enjoys working with children! I love watching children learn and grow and become their own individual personalities. I also enjoy being part of, or witnessing, their milestones and seeing the looks on their parent’s face when they see their child walk or write their name for the first time. My family has been close and is very traditional; we sit down to dinner each night together, whether it be at 6pm or 8:30, whenever it is that we are all home. Goals for my future and education are forever being met and revised. I constantly like to be able to participate in workshops and be kept up to date on the latest research and education on children. I would love to be a Nanny because the bond one forms with a child is the strongest form of a relationship. Both the child and the caregiver trust, love, and grow with each other. Being a part of a child’s life is the most rewarding experience. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because being able to care for a child and to keep them safe and feeling loved is the most rewarding experience. I have many aspirations, but one goal I feel a nanny position can fulfill is to make a difference in another's life. I have chosen to be in the nanny profession over any other profession because I enjoy working with children and the feeling that I'm having an impact on someone's life is just a wonderful feeling to me! My goal as a nanny is to interact with the children in fun activities, find opportunities for the children to learn and provide boundaries. I feel that communication is very important. I would communicate with the parents by creating charts to keep at their home that describes certain details of our day and keeping a communication book so we can write back and forth with any questions, concerns or comments. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am fun, caring, hardworking, multi-tasker and organized. I will make each child feel cared for, special, smart and comfortable.
