“I am a highly motivated and hard-working individual who possesses an abundance of energy and enthusiasm! My preference is to remain active and enjoy spending time outdoors. One profession that truly aligns with my interests and capabilities is being a nanny because I genuinely adore children and believe I can bring a lot to a family. If I were to summarize the reason I have chosen the nanny profession above all others, it would be my enjoyment of working with children and participating in various activities. With over 8 years of experience in childcare, including working at the Adams County After School Program, I can wholeheartedly say that I absolutely love what I do! In my opinion, children are open-minded, eager to learn, full of excitement, fun, and possess an innocent nature. As a nanny, my ultimate goal is to ensure their safety, provide educational opportunities, and keep them entertained. Additionally, I am more than willing to assist with housekeeping duties such as cooking, cleaning, pet care, and handling laundry. If I had to describe myself using five adjectives, I would say I am trustworthy, reliable, active, easy-going, and kind. When it comes to planning daily activities for the family I care for, I would incorporate exercises, educational endeavors, and outdoor adventures on pleasant days. The ideal family I envision working with is one that upholds strong morals, values good communication, and thoroughly enjoys an active lifestyle.”

“I had the pleasure of working with Dianna at the Adams County After School Program. As a fellow teacher, I have observed her exceptional teaching skills that have made the transition smooth for our students. Dianna's ability to adapt her teaching style to meet the diverse needs of our students has been commendable. She consistently demonstrates a strong grasp of classroom management techniques and establishes herself as an authority figure while maintaining a professional rapport with the students. The students readily accept her as their teacher and feel comfortable opening up to her. Dianna employs a variety of teaching techniques with confidence and is capable of adjusting her lessons to cater to the different learning styles within each class. Moreover, she handles interactions with students, parents, and peers tactfully and courteously, showcasing her care and dedication towards her students' success. Throughout her tenure at our High School, Dianna has shown tremendous growth as a teacher. In addition to her teaching abilities, she is a pleasure to work with, always ensuring that everything is well organized and taken care of. Her hard work and delightful personality are sure to propel her to great heights as an educator.”

“Diana became a part of our team at Adams County After School Program on the first day of school, filling in seamlessly for a teacher who had accepted a position in another district. She quickly adapted to the curriculum, familiarized herself with the students' backgrounds and learning needs, and integrated additional activities and authentic assessments that fully engaged our students. As the coordinator of a staff of approximately 15, it is my responsibility to keep them updated on school developments, perform professional development activities, and fulfill professional obligations. I never had any concerns in this area with Diana. She was punctual, prepared, and willingly volunteered for tasks such as open house and SLC activities. Her classroom management skills are exceptional, and the students are drawn to her warm and engaging style of interaction while maintaining appropriate boundaries. In addition to teaching, Diana also served as an assistant coach for our school's Swim Team, frequently chaperoned school dances and events, assisted at the Adams Country After School Program, and regularly attended student sporting events. Her enthusiasm and genuine care for the students make it evident that she enjoys her job and has their best interests at heart. This creates a secure environment where students thrive and demonstrate a desire to please her. Although losing Diana will be a great loss to our staff, their gain will be immeasurable to any other organization that has the opportunity to hire her.”

“When it comes to the Adams County After School Program, there are a few words that instantly come to mind when describing Dianna's interactions with both the staff and student body. Dianna has always been known as a team player, someone who is open-minded, helpful, and professional. She has always been more than willing to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed. I distinctly remember her actively assisting me during conflict resolution sessions and then promptly referring students to the appropriate staff member if the situation started to escalate. Her dedication to the students of the program was evident in her sincere efforts to help them present their best work. Dianna would go above and beyond in working diligently with each student to help them reach their full potential. Her laid-back demeanor created a comfortable environment for students to approach her on multiple occasions. Through her interactive and engaging lessons, Dianna made every effort to stimulate and maintain her students' interest in Social Studies. Working with her this school year was truly enjoyable, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone in need of her skills and expertise.”
