“As a highly motivated and hard-working individual, I am filled with high energy and enthusiasm! I thrive on being active and embracing the outdoors. The reason I am drawn to the Nanny profession, specifically the Otero County After School Program, is because of my love for children and the valuable contribution I can make to a family. If I had to summarize in one sentence why I chose to be a nanny over any other profession, it would be because I genuinely enjoy working with children and being actively engaged with them. With over 8 years of childcare experience, including a role at the Otero County After School Program, I can confidently say that I am passionate about what I do. When interacting with children, I find them to be open-minded, ready to learn, and filled with excitement, fun, and innocence. As a Nanny, my ultimate goal is to protect, educate, and entertain the children under my care. Additionally, I am more than willing to take on housekeeping responsibilities such as cooking, cleaning, pet care, and laundry. To describe myself, I am trustworthy, reliable, active, easy-going, and kind. In terms of daily activities, I believe it is important to incorporate exercise, educational activities, and spending time outdoors on pleasant days into the family's routine. If I were to envision the perfect family seeking a nanny like myself, I would hope they possess strong morals and values, effective communication skills, and enjoy leading active lifestyles.”

“I had the privilege of working alongside Dianna at the Otero County After School Program, where she has excelled in her role as a teacher. Her dedication and skills have ensured a seamless transition for our students. Here are my firsthand observations of her teaching. Dianna's approach to teaching is truly commendable. She demonstrates a strong command of the subject matter and effortlessly adapts her teaching style to meet the diverse needs of her students. In the classroom, Dianna exhibits excellent classroom management skills and employs a range of effective techniques. She establishes herself as an authority figure while earning the respect of her students, maintaining a professional and pleasant rapport with them. Her relaxed demeanor creates a comfortable learning environment, allowing students to easily connect with her. Dianna's lessons incorporate a variety of engaging teaching techniques, and her confidence in their implementation is evident. She proves her ability to tailor her lessons and teaching styles to effectively cater to the diverse learning population in each class. One impressive aspect of Dianna's teaching is her tactful and courteous nature when interacting with students, parents, and colleagues alike. It is evident that she genuinely cares about her students and is always willing to go the extra mile to help them succeed. Throughout her time at our high school, Dianna has blossomed as a teacher, steadily growing in her abilities. Personally, she is a pleasure to collaborate with, as I am consistently confident that everything is in order and taken care of when I enter to teach on my days. All of these qualities contributed to a smooth transition for both myself and the students. Dianna's dedication, hard work, and delightful personality will undoubtedly lead to her continued success as an exceptional teacher.”

“Diana seamlessly filled the unfilled position in the Otero County After School Program when a teacher accepted a position in another district and left. From the first day of school, she immediately got up to speed with the curriculum, familiarized herself with the students' backgrounds and learning needs, and integrated activities and authentic assessments that immersed our students. As the coordinator of the program, my responsibilities include organizing a staff of approximately 15, keeping them informed about school developments, facilitating professional development activities, and fulfilling professional obligations. Diana never posed any issues in this regard. She was always present, punctual, and prepared for every task assigned to her. She willingly volunteered for various activities such as open house and SLC events. Diana's classroom management skills are excellent. Her open and engaging style of interaction resonates with the students, who like and warm up to her while still maintaining professional boundaries. In addition to her teaching role, she contributed as an assistant coach for our school Swim Team, frequently chaperoned school dances and events, offered assistance at the Otero County After School Program, and regularly attended student sporting events. Diana's enthusiasm for her job and genuine care for the students is evident. This is why she is able to effectively command her classroom. Students feel safe and motivated to please her. Losing Diana as a member of our staff will be a significant loss for our program, but a valuable gain for any future employer fortunate enough to hire her.”

“Dianna's interactions with both the staff and student body at the Otero County After School Program can be described as team player, open-minded, helpful, and professional. She never hesitated to offer assistance when it was needed and actively supported me in conducting conflict resolution sessions and guiding students to the appropriate staff member when necessary. Dianna genuinely cared about helping the students showcase their best work and went above and beyond to work closely with them in order to help them reach their full potential. Her easy-going nature also created a comfortable environment for students to approach her and engage in meaningful conversations. Dianna's teaching methods were interactive and enjoyable, as she continuously aimed to captivate her students' interest in Social Studies. It was truly a pleasure collaborating with Dianna throughout this academic year, and I highly recommend her for any position!”
