The Harrisburg Nanny Assessment Process

The assessment process is the most important step to providing you with the perfect ABC Nanny! Filling out a detailed registration form is the first step to finding the right nanny. After this is complete, one of our counselors will contact you within 24 hours. The placement counselor that you first speak with will likely be the counselor that will work closely with you throughout the entire process. She will review with you all of the details regarding our services and fee structure. They will then ask you very specific questions in order to determine exactly what your needs are. They will ask you questions regarding the hours you will require childcare, the children’s current activity schedule, any age preference you may have for the nanny, along with when you would like the Nanny to start. Your personalized Nanny description based on your individual and unique circumstance will be considered when searching for the perfect candidate!

Once you and your counselor have finished the assessment and you have decided to start interviewing potential candidates, your counselor will fully register your family. A detailed Nanny Employment description will then be provided to a team of placement counselors who will immediately begin working on your position. You will only be interviewing Nannies that are within a 30-minute radius of your home. Within your specific area, we will narrow down the potential candidates based on your specific requests. After your Nanny Employment description is completed, potential candidates will be contacted to inform them of the position that has become available. This will help us to compile a solid list of highly suitable Nannies for this opening. We will then email you an extremely detailed profile for each candidate that we feel will best meet your particular needs. You will receive these profiles prior to each candidate coming to your home for an interview.

Each Nanny’s profile will include a picture, a description explaining why she has chosen to be a Nanny, her CPR certification, one year commitment pledge, letters of reference and even her electronic fingerprints. Each reference that is included in the Nanny’s profile has been verified by our verification department, and includes the names and phone numbers of the references so you contact them as well. Absolutely all of the information about each candidate is provided to you before they arrive at your home for an interview. Once the entire registration process is complete, you can anticipate interviewing candidates within just a few days! Each Nanny will come to your home for a face-to-face interview and to meet your family based on your availability.
