"What impressed me the most about working with ABC Nanny Source was the level of detail and organization in which such confidential information was presented. I received an extensive profile of each NY nanny candidate prior to her coming to my home for an interview. Once each nanny arrived at my door, I was fully relaxed because I felt I already knew the person in front of me! That’s how detailed these profiles were. The process was made very easy for our family and within a matter of days, I hired the perfect nanny for our children!"

Laura enjoys her position as a DC Housekeeper, and is happy to help families in caring for their children as well!

"I come from a very stable family that has taught me the importance of values and compassion for others. I grew up in a family that allowed me access to the arts and encouraged me to pursue my dream as a photographer. I am a well-rounded individual, creative and charismatic. I love working with children and have experience working with severe physical and mentally handicapped children, as well as children from infancy to school age. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I have been working with children for the past 5 or so years. I have always loved children and can naturally interact with them on their level while maintaining the respect needed as a caregiver. I would love to have more one on one time with children, as I feel there is many children out there that desire to be taught and challenged. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 5 years and can honestly say I adore what I do! I feel the children are creative and fun. They each have a sense of humor and a personality all their own and deserve to be treated as such. Children are always fun to interact with or sit and talk to about what’s on their mind. I feel children need direction and discipline but also the ability to have fun and explore their world around them. My goal as a Nanny and a DC Housekeeper is to provide a child/children with the opportunity to learn new things. I would like to develop a friendship with the child and family, as I feel this would be an important relationship to maintain. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am compassionate, adventurous, creative, artistic, and reliable. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include trips to local museums, if child shows interest and identify their hobbies and provide them with opportunities to pursue them. Depending upon the age, I am able to provide the children with knowledge on art history, theater, and famous artists as well as local art! If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be outgoing, fun loving people who are looking for someone who can not only provide a safe environment for their child, but also help them to grow and develop knowledge of the world around them."

"I believe Laura is an excellent candidate to work with children. She has been caring for my two boys since the day they were born. They are now 19 months and 3 months old. She knows how to have fun with the children and always has good ideas for crafts and play time, but also knows when it is appropriate to discipline. She is very reliable and a hard worker. I would definitely recommend her for a Nanny position!"

"I can’t think of a job better suited for Laura than to work as a childcare provider and DC Housekeeper. She is kind, gentle and dependable. I know Laura through a job in which I served as one of her direct supervisors. I had the pleasure of working with Laura in my classroom. She worked as a teacher’s aide and assisted me with daily activities. Laura did an excellent job in this position and was an asset to our organization. The children adored her! Her gentle demeanor and soft-spoken nature was a perfect fit for this position. She was not limited to working only in my classroom. Laura was very flexible and willing to work in every room in the program. She has experience working with children ranging in age from infants to pre-kindergarten. Laura worked well in both a co-teaching environment and independent situations. She seemed very passionate about her work with the children. Laura was always willing to offer her assistance and had an excellent rapport with the many parents she came in contact with on a daily basis. I would recommend Laura for any position involving work with children. She would be an asset to any employer and I am confident that she will work for you with the perfect combination of passion and professionalism."

"Laura is a responsible and very caring individual. She interacted very well with my son, as well as with the children in his Boy Scout troop. She was attentive and nurturing. Dusty was very happy to be with her. She was also licensed through the state at that time. I am confident to recommend Laura as a nanny to your family. She is great with children, responsible, and truly cares about the children. She was always active with the children, and will make a great nanny."

"Laura took fantastic care of Noah and we miss her already! I came home to a clean house and a happy child, which to me, was invaluable. She has been nothing less than wonderful and we consider her an extended family member. The boys absolutely adore her and I already miss the little things she did around the house for us. She would make a great DC Housekeeper and nanny!"

"Laura fulfills all job requirements. She is mature and committed in her approach to her work and I feel very confident leaving my two precious boys in her care! I know they are safe with her and I also know that they are happy in her care. They both love her! Laura is a special person in the lives of my family. She is very resourceful and levelheaded and although she has never had an emergency situation when alone with my boys I am confident that she could handle such a situation appropriately. My boys are safe with Laura and have great fun. She encourages them to express themselves verbally and through artwork and she interacts with them constantly. You can tell that she loves working with children. I have no problem fully recommending her for any nanny position!"
