“I am an individual with great motivation and a strong work ethic, known for my high energy and enthusiasm! Being active and enjoying the outdoors is something that I truly prefer. The reason I chose to pursue a career as a nanny is because I find joy in working with children and believe that I have a lot to offer a family, especially at the Lancaster County After School Program. With over 8 years of childcare experience under my belt, including my time at this program, I can confidently say that I love what I do! In my opinion, children are open-minded, eager to learn, fun, excited, and innocent. As a nanny, my goal is to protect, educate, and entertain them. I am willing to take on household responsibilities such as cooking, cleaning, pet care, and laundry. Describing myself in five adjectives, I'd say that I am trustworthy, reliable, active, easy-going, and kind. My daily plan for the family I care for would involve incorporating activities like exercise, educational tasks, and spending quality time outdoors on pleasant days. If one were to ask me about the perfect family seeking a nanny like myself, I would hope for them to be a family with strong morals and values, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for an active lifestyle.”

“I had the pleasure of working with Dianna at the Lancaster County After School Program. Dianna's dedication and expertise have greatly contributed to the success of these classes, making the transition seamless for the students. Here are my observations of her exceptional teaching skills. Dianna's teaching abilities are truly commendable. She demonstrated a remarkable command of the subject matter and showcased adaptability in tailoring her teaching style to meet the unique needs of her students. In the classroom, she exhibited exemplary classroom management skills and employed a diverse range of techniques to ensure a positive learning environment. Her authoritative presence commanded the students' respect, and she maintained a professional rapport with them. It was evident that Dianna's calm and relaxed approach allowed the students to readily accept her as their teacher and engage with her enthusiastically. Dianna's lessons were both dynamic and well-planned. She confidently implemented various teaching techniques and showed an aptitude for adjusting her lessons and instructional styles to cater to the diverse learning population in each class. Her tactfulness and courtesy were always evident when interacting with students, parents, and colleagues. Dianna genuinely cared for her students, consistently going above and beyond to help them achieve their goals. Throughout her tenure at our High School, Dianna has demonstrated substantial growth as a teacher. Personally, she has been an absolute joy to work with, and I have complete confidence that everything is in order and well-managed when I come in to teach on my assigned days. Her qualities have undoubtedly contributed to a smooth transition for both myself and the students. With her strong work ethic and delightful personality, I have no doubt that Dianna will continue to thrive and excel as an outstanding teacher.”

“Diana gracefully stepped in on the first day of school when a teacher departed for another district, leaving us with an unfilled position at the Lancaster County After School Program. Without missing a beat, she seamlessly filled the void, quickly familiarizing herself with the curriculum, students, their backgrounds, learning needs, and the rest of the staff. Furthermore, Diana expanded upon the existing curriculum by incorporating immersive activities and authentic assessments that deeply engaged our students. In my role as the coordinator, I am responsible for managing a staff of approximately 15 individuals, keeping them informed about school updates, facilitating professional development activities, and ensuring they meet their professional obligations. Diana posed no challenges in this area, always in attendance, punctual, and adequately prepared for any tasks assigned to her. Moreover, she willingly volunteered for additional responsibilities such as open house and SLC activities. Diana's classroom management skills are truly commendable. Her open and engaging style of interaction resonates with the students, who quickly develop a fondness and admiration for her. This positive rapport is built while still maintaining a professional boundary. In addition to her teaching duties, Diana actively participated as an assistant coach for our school's Swim Team, frequently served as a chaperone for school dances and events, supported the Lancaster County After School Program, and regularly attended student sporting events. Diana exudes a genuine enjoyment for her job and wholeheartedly cares for the well-being of her students. This mindset is reflected in her ability to effectively command her classroom, as the students recognize the safe environment she fosters and naturally aim to impress her. Losing Diana will be a significant loss for our staff, but a tremendous gain for any future employer who is fortunate enough to hire her.”

“Dianna's interactions with both the staff and student body at the Lancaster County After School Program can be described as team player, open-minded, helpful, and professional. Whenever assistance was required, Dianna willingly offered her help. She actively supported me in conducting conflict resolution sessions and, if the situation escalated, she would refer students to the appropriate staff member. Dianna demonstrated genuine dedication to helping students present their best work, working diligently with them to help them reach their full potential. Her laid-back demeanor created a comfortable environment for students to approach her whenever needed. Dianna's lessons in Social Studies were interactive and engaging, keeping her students stimulated and interested. It has been a pleasure working with Dianna this school year, and I highly recommend her for any position.”
