Families seeking Nannies with experience as a Burlington County Mothers Helper love our ABC Nannies like Stacy who prefers to keep the children healthy and active.

"I am a very high energy and creative Burlington County Mothers Helper who loves to be around children! I am one of seven children in my own family so I have many years of experience. My family background has taught me a lot about how to interact within a family and a household. Additionally, I have classroom experience with children of all ages and this experience has taught me a lot about how different aged children act, think, and spend time! If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I love working with, caring for, and educating children. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 2 years and can honestly say I adore what I do! I feel the children are our most special gifts who need to be carefully tended to so they can grow up and become outstanding adults. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes helping to tidy up rooms and to clean up accidents/spills if they occur. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am creative, loving, playful, energetic, and patient. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include read-out-louds, arts and crafts, and age appropriate outdoor games to keep the children active! If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be I would kind and loving and welcome me into their family!”

In her classroom, Stacy provided a nurturing environment which brought together a variety of diversified personalities while also stressing independence and encouragement to work unaccompanied. She managed to be caring and understanding while maintaining a strict sense of discipline in a structured environment. Stacy’s teaching style intrigued me from the very start of the school year! My child tends to work very quickly, finishing assignments prior to the rest of the class. This often causes him to be disruptive as a result of his boredom. Stacy positively altered this behavior by offering a variety of challenges for my child to complete to eliminate this negative behavior! She successfully individualized his education to keep him attentive and well behaved. She managed to keep the attention of the class by making her instruction interesting in areas that would normally be mind-numbing to some children. During an open house, I noticed an extensive drawing of an entire city created by the children, for the children. It was both simple and complex and provided educational information while simultaneously being enjoyable for the children and managing to keep their attention. Lastly, I need to comment on my amazement at a class trip that I attended. The amount of respect that the children displayed for Stacy was overwhelming! It was interesting to observe a class of children of different behavioral levels all conduct themselves so appropriately. Having three children of my own, I have a high level of respect for someone who can lead such a diversified group with such grace! Considering my many years of experience with various types of teaching styles, I would absolutely like to convey that Stacy was a pleasure! She made an enormous impact on my child, as well as my entire family. She enabled my son to enjoy school while maintaining a desire to work independently in an effort to always do his best. I consider it a privilege to have had the opportunity to have Stacy as a teacher for my son, and I highly recommend her to be a Burlington County Mothers Helper!”

“Stacy served as my daughter teacher for one school year. Through her skills in technology and the web, Stacy incorporated creative tasks into my daughter's classroom. Stacy allowed the children to use the web to research different holiday customs around the world, create vivid posters and present them to the class. Later, for a lesson on the human body, the class used the computer to create slides highlighting various parts of the body to reveal how each part worked independently and as a whole. As a result, my daughter's skills on the computer have progressed dramatically! Building on her past experience as an art teacher, Stacy integrated amazing projects into the classroom, including the creation of a "personality patch" that allowed my daughter to express herself like never before. She still talks about the time the class joined all her classmates' patches together to form one cohesive classroom quilt! My daughter also raves about The Big Dig, where she acted as a geologist for a day to study rocks and soil at selected sites, then wrote about the experience in her observation journal. She really had a blast! She would be an amazing Burlington County Mothers Helper! With an innovative educator like Stacy, your child will improve by leaps and bounds! My daughter and I will never forget her!”

“Stacy was on our staff for one year with the experience of being a long-term substitute art teacher. She presented meaningful lessons for her third graders in all curriculum subjects and performed all duties required of full-time teachers. As a first year teacher, Stacy brought with her an enthusiasm that was easy to catch, openness to learning new techniques and strategies, and also a confidence that enabled her to work with some children with learning issues and help them develop greater self-esteem and confidence, thus making greater progress than expected! Stacy's positive demeanor, cooperative nature, and dedication have obviously had an effect on her children. Her dedication, coupled with her creativity, has enabled her children to have a very positive academic experience. Stacy had a discipline plan in place at the beginning of the year and learned when it was necessary to utilize it, modify it, or completely change it according to the student's need. She keeps parents informed of children's progress and any situations that need to be brought to their attention. Stacy has proven to be very responsible, independent, and reliable. She works well with the other faculty members and staff. Stacy has also been a member of our after-school faculty and takes this responsibility just as seriously. I recommend that you consider Stacy, knowing that she will be an asset to your family as a Burlington County Mothers Helper!”
