“I was so impressed by the service provided by ABC Nanny Source! Initially I was reluctant to go through a local nanny agency in NJ– but now I can honestly say this is the ONLY way to hire someone to care for your children. The NJ Nanny candidates that were presented to our family were absolutely fantastic. I really couldn’t believe how professional, experienced, and dedicated each and every candidate was that we met. We hired our nanny within a few days from registering and hope to have her with us for many years! Thank you!”

Anita is an Essex County Nanny who comes from a large, loving family that has taught her strong values!

Essex County Nanny Anita's References

“Anita has been a joy to work with over the past 4 years! Our children have grown to love her immensely as their Essex County Nanny, and count on her for many developmental and educational milestones that they have achieved over the years. Anita is a very gentle person that disciplines with a strong conviction rather than a loud voice. We really appreciated this! Allowing them to be disciplined with a gentle touch has molded them today to be very polite and caring children. She also takes a refreshing approach to educating the children. Our children are better off today because of the lessons Anita has taught our children! For example, she taught Audrey how to read by using flashcards, poems, songs, and fun games to emphasize phonics and improve Audrey’s vocabulary. Likewise, she looked for every opportunity to expose and introduce Andrei to letters of the alphabet; on a book cover, on a package of diapers, traced letters with him, drew them on the easel or sang about them, and identified them on his alphabet bus. As far as both children, she always challenged them to learning new vocabulary, geography, science wonders, and speaking with good grammar. She always had them learn through games, which is how Andrei learned his colors so fast! Anita also went beyond what was asked of her with her routine job responsibilities! She spent time cleaning and tidying up the garage when time permitted, volunteered and drove with Andrei to attend Audrey’s Olympics since the rest of the family’s schedules did not allow them to attend, and also volunteered to stay overnight if inclement weather was forecasted so my wife and I could go to work the next morning. We were always very pleased with her creative and imaginative way to make ordinary tasks so special. The children were constantly learning around her, and they are much better off today because of this. Another wonderful thing about Anita is her flexibility. We constantly had different schedules for Anita each week. She accepted this nuance of our schedules and grew to be a constant in our lives. We appreciated her so much, and you will too!!”

“I would be happy to share my experiences with Anita in my household! Anita started with my family in September 2004 when my second child was 3 months old and my first child, 3 ½ years old. I was most attracted to her calm disposition and her patience. She struck me as someone who is very considerate, respectful and kind – all very important qualities in someone that you bring into your family to care for your children. Despite her lack of prior experience in this field, she learned the basic responsibilities of caring for a newborn by modeling me, by following very explicit instructions and by asking questions. She didn’t become frustrated and she tried her best to understand the baby’s cues and to attend to his needs as quickly as possible. As the children grew and their needs evolved, she became engaged in their learning, in their activities and she became more comfortable in her role. She helped reinforce learning concepts from school and she started introducing my youngest child to letters, numbers, colors and counting. She would use various board books, a drawing easel, alphabet toys and even household items to reinforce his learning. She developed games to motivate them to brush their teeth, clean up toys and learn to share and be patient. She also played many games to keep them active and have fun. Certainly after almost 4 years, the kids were very comfortable with Anita as she was an important part of our household. This was a full time, live out Essex County Nanny position with a very flexible schedule. Anita’s primary responsibility was caring for the children, but she also helped warm meals and prepare easy meals (occasionally) for the children, do laundry for the family, light housecleaning every other week and a couple of other ad hoc household duties, none of which interfered with her activities with the children. It is important to note that we had a mutual agreement of flexibility in hours and days worked per week as my job schedule sometimes required late evenings and overnight travel. I believe we both appreciated the allowances we made for each other to accommodate our families’ schedules. For example, she was able to stay overnight on many nights and I was able to give her extra time off as necessary. This worked very well. Anita is a very kind, caring individual who has kept my children safe and happy in the secure, comfortable environment of their home. I know finding the perfect nanny for your family is a big undertaking and it is through a thorough analysis of each other’s needs and expectations that you can find the perfect match. Anita is a warm, loving, kind, sweet, compassionate woman who I trust with any child!”

“No task with Anita as an Essex County Nanny is ever too great or too small! She was responsible for a small group of 9-year-old girls from sunrise to sunset. A compassionate, intuitive, creative approach with the girls was key to her success as a counselor. She portrayed a great sensitivity for the needs of her young charges who were homesick. She improvised those movements with songs, fun games, or just resorted to speaking with them to divert their attention. Overall, Anita was firm but fair in her discipline of the girls when the need arose. She was also kind and maternal in her day-by-day interaction with them. The days were spent accompanying the girls of her cabin to various activities, meals, swimming, and horseback riding. All in all, she exhibited concern for their well-being. She would be an asset to any position involving the care of children!”

“Children are definitely drawn to Anita’s warm and caring personality! This quality makes her a natural Essex County Nanny. She is known for her faithfulness and dependability. She is extremely trustworthy and a great asset to children!”

“Anita has impressed me as one who is intelligent, conscientious, patient, and loving. In essence, I can say that Anita would be an asset and positive influence. Therefore, I refer her unconditionally to you!”

“Anita is an Essex County Nanny who is very dedicated to her work of supervising the household and caring for children! The children love being with her because she is fun to be with, is always teaching them something new, and she likes to keep them happy and safe. She is like a 2nd mother to the children, and she shows them honesty and respect.”
