Families in need of a Nanny with experience as a Gloucester County Tutor love our ABC Nannies like Sara who are dedicated in helping children learn and grow.

I started working as a nanny in college as a Gloucester County Tutor and eventually left college to pursue working with children full-time. I also have taught private music lessons to children aged four and up for the past three years (mostly piano, guitar & ukulele lessons). I’m a nanny because I truly adore spending my time with children, teaching them about their world, how to treat others and how to be confident in their own ability to think and create. Having once been a child to very hard-working New York City parents, I know how difficult it is for families who can’t spend time together, so I take my job very seriously. It’s important to me to be flexible above anything else - I’m there to make things easier for the people I work for as well as be a nurturing best friend, a stern protector and an exciting, silly, fun teacher for the kids. I really think being a nanny is one of the most important jobs there is, and there isn’t anything I could see wanting to do more. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I think I was born to do it. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over twelve years and can honestly say I love what I do! They’re in their greatest, most important stage of development as individuals, and if they’re guided in the right direction, they’ll end up happy, successful, well-rounded adults. My goal as a Nanny is to help spark a love affair with learning, to teach that learning is always exciting; to help the children be confident in themselves and their creativity; to reinforce good moral values (treating others as they’d like to be treated, always be the bigger person, etc.); to be there for the children, beyond my roll as nanny, but as a sort of big-sister who will always be in their life. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes child laundry, tidying up, and other child-related tasks. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am Passionate; capable; understanding; loving; creative. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include creative projects; taking the children on trips to libraries, museums, playgrounds, events for children and so on; to initiate play dates and possibly organize play groups; to make sure there is a lot of physical and/or outdoor activity; to play imaginative games and so on. I also love to do cooking projects and teach the children about nutrition and healthy eating habits. With babies and children on the younger side, I would incorporate a lot of music and reading into the schedule, we’d spend much time working on words and motor skills as well as playing in safe, explorative environments. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be responsible, caring, positive, laid back, passionate about their children’s development and yet open to hearing the nanny’s thoughts and appreciative of their nanny and to consider her a part of the family.”

“My wife, daughter, and I have known Sara for over ten years. She has been an extraordinary friend of ours for a long time now! Sara and her son come down to visit us at our summer home. I would have to say Sara is very serious about her job as a Gloucester County Tutor and nanny and sometimes outperforms herself beyond her limits! She is very creative and original in how she cooks and has an optimistic outlook on life. She always gives great advice and is the life of the party! Just her wonderful presence describes her strong yet gentle practical approach to solving the most complex of situations and quickly multitasks to solve problems. Sara is very loyal to all her families and many of her past families have called her back to rehire her. I would highly recommend her without any hesitation!

“Sara is a wonderful woman who had the position of caring for my two boys for four years! The only reason that the arrangement ended is that both of my boys are now in school full time and I am no longer in need of such services. Sara always showed up to my house on time or a few minutes early. She had endless energy in playing with my children! From board games, to crafts, to outdoor baseball and soccer games, she was up for anything! She was also open to having playmates over for my children whenever I asked. The children were fed what I asked her to feed them and only taken to places that I specifically requested. She never in all the four years called in sick, or did not show up for work for any reason. She never in all the years told me that she couldn't come in a few minutes early or stay a bit later if I asked. She is one of the most reliable people I know! In addition to her superior care of my children, Sara also took care of my very large dog when we were at work. She was always productive during these times as well! She would happily prepare a meal for dinner, fold laundry, make beds, and straighten up our home. I never required these things from her, yet they were done! It was a pleasure working with Sara, and I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a fantastic nanny and Gloucester County Tutor! I was always confident that my children were not only safe, but also happy in her care!”

“Sara was very flexible with her hours and capable of fulfilling her professional responsibilities! Her childcare duties included taking care of my then two year-old daughter. She supervised during play dates, drove her to and from pre-school, and did various nurturing and educational activities with her. She also was responsible for bathing and feeding my daughter. Domestically, Sara cleaned my house, did the laundry and cooked meals when requested. Sara was always wonderful, and I highly recommend her as a Gloucester County Tutor and nanny!”

“Sara was employed by me for two and a half years. Sara was a professional in every sense of the word! She always took her responsibilities seriously. Sara took care of my newborn son. She took care of him for two and a half years until it was time for him to go to pre-school. She did everything for him, and went above and beyond my expectations! My son loved Sara dearly! She was kind, compassionate, calm, and everything you would dream of in a nanny! My son was her first priority and he knew it! As well as taking care of my son, Sara also cooked and cleaned. She did all of my son’s laundry and no matter what I asked her, she always came through. I feel fortunate to have had Sara in my home taking care of my son. I recommend her as a Gloucester County Tutor and nanny highly and with flying colors!”
