ABC represents many nannies that have experience from a Salem County After School Program like Carren who will do well with families with children of all ages.

I consider myself to be an easy going, very light hearted individual. I have always loved children! I want to be a nanny because knowing that I have touched the lives of little ones and hopefully made my mark in their foundation is just priceless! One thing I enjoy about being a nanny is knowing that the little one is going to be happy to see me when I come to work. I have been serving in some form of childcare for over 8 years, including experience at a Salem County After School Program, and can honestly say I LOVE what I do! I feel the children are amazing beings. They are blank slates that are just waiting to be molded. They have such big dreams and I believe in nurturing those dreams, and telling them they can be anything they want to be. The sky is the limit! I love a child’s honesty, especially the young ones. They have no inhibitions! I love when babies laugh at you because I know it is genuine. My goal as a Nanny is to do the best job that I can do. I want to ensure that I form a strong bond with the parents so that we can have a good line of open communication. My goal with the children is to become their friends, but also have the respect of an authority figure. I feel like it is important to form a team kind of relationship with the family that I work for. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes laundry, dishes, and cleaning of the children’s rooms. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am energetic, fun, easy-going, trustworthy, and a team player. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include arts and crafts, story time, and outdoor activities. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope to be placed with a loving, close family.”

“Carren has worked for us for the last year being a caretaker for our son, Reilly, who has Fragile X Syndrome. Carren's demeanor makes her a wonderful caretaker! She is kind, responsible, creative, has a "can do" attitude and has always been there when we needed her. The relationship she has with my son is like no other! Reilly asks for Carren all the time. He lights up when she walks through the door of our home! When I first met Carren, she was working as a nanny for a Salem County After School Program. She has a special gift of bonding with children in their own special way. Carren always sees the good in people and her attitude is one of never giving up. I highly recommend Carren for whatever position she is applying for! Her unique ways of connecting with children (especially the way she connects with my son) will make any family she joins a very strong one!”

“Carren worked for me as a nanny for my three children. Because I work from home, I am able to observe her activities with them. She has a calm, cheerful disposition and is very gentle with the children! My daughter’s swimming teacher recommended Carren to me when I found myself in need of a nanny immediately. She knew her through her job at a Salem County After School Program. Carren worked 6 hours a day, 5 days a week for me. Because my schedule was flexible, she was flexible for me, shifting hours around here and there as needed. Carren always took direction very well, as well as had a sense for what needed to happen when without being told specifically. She was responsible for driving my two older children to preschool, caring for the baby during the day (for which she took her on outings such as playgroups, visits to parks and walks in the neighborhood), and for school pick-up. She managed the naptime and the grumpy wake-up time and snack time of my two-year old. She was punctual, responsible and considerate and I recommend her highly!”

“Carren was our nanny for two years. She came to work for us when our daughter was born. She took care of our daughter and son for two years. Carren was a great caregiver! She was gentle and loving. She was also very reliable and had great experience at a Salem County After School Program. We never had to worry about Carren getting to work late. She was always prompt. She will be a wonderful addition to your family!”
