“I have always known that I want my life's work to involve caring for children every single day through the Juneau County After School Program. The way a baby looks at the world with brand new eyes has always fascinated me, and the hope, imagination, and invincible nature of toddlers and children never cease to amaze me. My love for being around and working with children began at a very early age, and this passion has only grown stronger over the years. This is the profession that my heart has chosen, and if I was asked to describe in one sentence why I have chosen to be in the nanny profession over any other, it would have to be because I enjoy making a meaningful difference in someone else's life. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over four years, and I can honestly say that I adore what I do. To me, children are intelligent little people who are fascinating and have the potential to shape our future. There is nothing quite like looking at the world from a child's pure, optimistic perspective. “In regard to the Juneau County After School Program, I can confidently say that Hannah exceeded all expectations for the position. As someone who works from home, it was crucial for me to find a dependable individual who was willing to learn Sign Language. I never had to worry about Hannah's punctuality as she always arrived on time and was extremely flexible with my schedule. This was particularly important because my son is quite shy and was only comfortable with Hannah's presence. Thanks to her exceptional care, my husband and I were able to have much-needed alone time for date nights, something we previously couldn't do.
