“I am a highly motivated and hard-working individual with a great deal of energy and enthusiasm! I thrive on being active and have a strong affinity for the outdoors. My passion for working with children and my desire to make a positive impact on a family's life has led me to choose a career as a nanny. My extensive experience in childcare, including my time at the Plumas County After School Program, has only reinforced my love for what I do! I find children to be open-minded, eager to learn, full of excitement, fun-loving, and innocent. As a nanny, my goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment while also educating and entertaining the children under my care. I am more than willing to contribute to the household through tasks such as cooking, cleaning, pet care, and laundry. Trustworthy, reliable, active, easy-going, and kind - these are the five adjectives that best describe me. In terms of activities, I believe it is important to incorporate exercise, educational games, and outdoor time on pleasant days into the daily routine of the families I work with. Ideally, the perfect family seeking a nanny like myself would possess strong ethics, excellent communication skills, and a shared passion for an active lifestyle.”

“I had the pleasure of working with Dianna at the Plumas County After School Program, where she has done an exceptional job teaching classes and ensuring a seamless transition for the students. As an observer, I have noticed several remarkable aspects of her teaching. Dianna demonstrates a high level of competence in both subject knowledge and adaptability in her teaching style to cater to the diverse needs of the students. Her classroom management skills are exemplary, utilizing a variety of effective techniques. Establishing herself as an authority figure, Dianna earns the respect of her students and maintains a professional rapport with them. Her relaxed approach encourages students to readily accept her as their teacher and open up to her. Dianna's lessons incorporate various teaching techniques, and she exhibits confidence in implementing them. She proves adept at adjusting her lessons and approaches to suit the unique learning population in each class, and consistently achieves success in doing so. Furthermore, she consistently displays tactfulness and courtesy in her dealings with students, parents, and colleagues. Clearly, Dianna genuinely cares about her students and willingly invests extra time and effort to help them succeed. Since joining our high school, Dianna has exhibited significant growth as a teacher. Personally, working alongside her is always a pleasure, as I am confident that everything is in order and well taken care of when I come in to teach on my assigned days. All of these qualities have contributed to a smooth transition for me and the students. Dianna is a diligent worker with an exceptional personality that will undoubtedly lead her to flourish as a remarkable teacher.”

“Diana became part of our team at the Plumas County After School Program on the first day of school. She seamlessly filled a position that had been left unfilled when a teacher accepted a position in another district. Right from the start, Diana quickly familiarized herself with the curriculum, our students' backgrounds and learning needs, and the staff. She not only took the existing curriculum but also incorporated additional activities and authentic assessments that completely engaged our students. As the coordinator of the program, I am responsible for organizing a staff of about 15 individuals, keeping them informed about school developments, conducting professional development activities, and fulfilling professional responsibilities. Diana never posed any issues in this area. She was always present, punctual, and fully prepared for everything she was asked to do. She even volunteered for events like open house and SLC activities. Diana's exceptional classroom management skills, coupled with her warm and engaging style of interaction, made her very popular among the students while maintaining a professional boundary. In addition to her teaching role, Diana actively contributed to our school as an assistant coach for the Swim Team, a frequent chaperone at school dances and events, a helper at the Plumas County After School Program, and a regular attendee of student-sporting events. She exudes a genuine spirit of enjoyment for her job and a true concern for the well-being of her students. This is why she can effectively command her classroom; the students feel safe and eager to please her. Losing Diana as a part of our staff will be a great loss for us, but whoever hires her next will undoubtedly gain a valuable asset!”

“When discussing Dianna's interactions with both the staff and student body in the Plumas County After School Program, the words "team player," "open-minded," "helpful," and "professional" immediately come to mind. Dianna consistently demonstrated her willingness to offer assistance whenever needed. She actively supported me in conducting conflict resolution sessions and would then refer students to the appropriate staff member if the situation became too difficult to handle. When working with students in the program, Dianna genuinely aimed to help them showcase their best work and diligently collaborated with them to help reach their full potential. Her calm and relaxed attitude created a comfortable environment for students to engage in conversations with her. Implementing various interactive and enjoyable lessons, Dianna consistently stimulated and maintained the interest of her students in Social Studies. It has been a pleasure working with Dianna throughout this school year, and I wholeheartedly endorse her for employment with any organization.”
