“I am an incredibly motivated and hard-working individual who exudes high energy and enthusiasm! My preference is to be active and revel in the outdoors. The reason I am drawn to being a nanny rather than any other profession is because I thoroughly enjoy working with children and engaging in physical activities. With over 8 years of experience in childcare, including serving at the Pointe Coupee County After School Program, I can confidently say that I love what I do! When it comes to children, I view them as open-minded, eager to learn, excited, and innately fun-loving. As a nanny, my ultimate goal is to protect, educate, and entertain them. I am more than willing to take care of housekeeping tasks such as cooking, cleaning, pet care, and laundry. When asked to describe myself using five adjectives, I would choose trustworthy, reliable, active, easy-going, and kind. In terms of the daily plan for the family I care for, I would love to incorporate activities that promote exercise, education, and spending quality time outdoors during pleasant weather. If I were asked to describe the kind of family that would be a perfect fit for a nanny like me, I would hope for a family with strong morals and values, effective communication skills, and a shared love for an active lifestyle.”

“Dianna and I were both teachers at the Pointe Coupee County After School Program. Her work in these classes has been outstanding, ensuring a smooth transition for the students. Here are my observations of her teaching abilities. Dianna has demonstrated exceptional teaching skills, possessing a deep understanding of the subjects she teaches. Furthermore, she effortlessly adapts her teaching style to cater to the diverse needs of the students. In terms of classroom management, Dianna exhibits a strong command and employs a range of effective techniques. She establishes herself as an authoritative figure, earning the respect of the students, while maintaining a professional and harmonious relationship with them. Dianna's relaxed approach allows the students to readily accept her as their teacher, creating an open and trusting environment. Her lessons incorporate various teaching techniques, and she executes them confidently. Dianna also demonstrates the ability to tailor her lessons and instructional methods to accommodate the diverse learning styles in each class, effectively meeting the needs of every student. Moreover, she showcases tactfulness and courtesy when interacting with students, parents, and colleagues. Dianna genuinely cares for her students, consistently going above and beyond to support their academic achievements. Throughout her time at our High School, Dianna has grown tremendously as a teacher. On a personal level, working with Dianna is a delight, as I always have confidence that everything is well-organized and taken care of when I arrive to teach on my assigned days. All of these qualities facilitated a smooth transition for both myself and the students. With her strong work ethic and delightful personality, Dianna is poised to flourish as a successful teacher.”

“Diana seamlessly joined our Pointe Coupee County After School Program on the first day of school, filling in for a teacher who had accepted a position in another district. She quickly familiarized herself with the curriculum, students, their backgrounds, and learning needs, earning the respect of the staff. Diana not only incorporated the existing curriculum but also enhanced it with engaging activities and authentic assessments that fully immersed our students. As the coordinator of the program, my responsibilities include organizing a staff of approximately 15 members, keeping them informed about school developments, conducting professional development activities, and fulfilling professional responsibilities. Diana never posed any issues in this regard. She consistently attended and participated in all activities, such as open house and SLC events, and was always punctual and well-prepared. Her exceptional classroom management skills and her warm and engaging style of interaction quickly endeared her to the students while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. Moreover, in addition to her teaching responsibilities, Diana actively contributed to the school community as an assistant coach for our swim team, chaperone at school dances and events, staff member at the Pointe Coupee County After School Program, and regular attendee of student sporting events. Her enthusiasm and genuine care for the well-being of our students are evident, creating an environment where students feel safe and motivated to excel. Losing Diana as part of our staff will be a significant loss, but it will undoubtedly be a tremendous gain for any other organization fortunate enough to hire her.”

“Dianna's interaction with both the staff and student body at the Pointe Coupee County After School Program can be accurately described as team player, open-minded, helpful, and professional. Whenever assistance was required, Dianna was always ready to offer her support. She actively participated in conducting conflict resolution sessions and then, if necessary, referred students to the appropriate staff member for further assistance. Dianna's genuine dedication to helping students showcase their best work was evident in her diligent efforts to help them reach their full potential. Her calm and approachable demeanor made students feel at ease when confiding in her. Dianna's teaching style involved engaging and enjoyable activities, aiming to stimulate and maintain her students' interest in Social Studies. It has been a pleasure collaborating with Dianna throughout this school year, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking a highly qualified professional.”
