"I am a very warm and genuine person. I am very kind, honest, and trustworthy. I love and have always loved working with children. I am fun and silly with children, and am very capable of handling any undesirable behaviors that may occur with care. I am relaxed but also very good at completing given tasks. I take my job very seriously and always work to the best of my abilities. I am educated and have taught for the past ten years. I was always searching for the right teaching position because I thought that was all I could do. Although I enjoyed working with the students it wasn’t quite what I wanted. My goal now is to work with and for a great family. I’d like to be an extension of the family, being there for the family. I am very excited about becoming a nanny again because I do truly love working with children, and I feel as though I have the gift of working well with them. I really want to spend my time providing a healthy, happy nurturing environment for children. I couldn’t ask for a better job! If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because children are the most important people we have. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 20 years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are truly a gift. They are so enjoyable to be around and are actually great teachers for adults about many of life’s simpler lessons. My goal as a Nanny is to provide an encouraging, nurturing, and loving environment that enables them to enjoy life and grow into strong, happy, and loving individuals. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes laundry, dishes, picking up around the house keeping it tidy, and animal care. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am loyal, kind, warm, funny, and genuine. All activities provided would be made age appropriate but could include; crafts, reading, music/songs, outdoor play and activities, dramatic play activities, educational and also tutoring, walks, day trips to local parks, libraries, play groups etc. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be very kind and fun-loving. I would like to work for a family that truly treats the Long Island, NY Nanny as an extension of the family."
