"What impressed me the most about working with ABC Nanny Source was the level of detail and organization in which such confidential information was presented. I received an extensive profile of each NY nanny candidate prior to her coming to my home for an interview. Once each nanny arrived at my door, I was fully relaxed because I felt I already knew the person in front of me! That’s how detailed these profiles were. The process was made very easy for our family and within a matter of days, I hired the perfect nanny for our children!"

A DC Special Needs Nanny like Beth would make a wonderful companion for any child that requires a more personal approach!

"I enjoy working with children! If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I love children. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over ten years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are such precious gifts. My goal as a Nanny is to make sure the children feel happy, safe, comfortable and full of smiles! I am willing to do housekeeping that includes cleaning up after the children, meal preparation, bathing them, and children’s laundry. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am friendly, kind, caring, fun loving, and trustworthy. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include reading, taking walks, playing educational activities, and going to the park. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a nanny ike me I would hope they would be loving, and caring."

"When I think of my son's 3rd year pre-school teacher, Beth, I am filled with appreciation as well as gratitude. An expert in her field and a dedicated professional as well as a loving & compassionate person and a nurturing mother figure, she is the epitome of the quintessential nursery school teacher. A very bright, happy, and social little boy, my son began attending pre-school as a 2 year old and always loved it. This past year we began noticing some nerves and hesitation mid-year along with some social/behavioral challenges and speech issues (stuttering). Beth quickly and proactively swooped in with her helpful opinions, suggestions, tools, resources, and most of all, reassurance. Throughout the year she developed a true connection with him and it was obvious that she had a genuine concern and love for him. Soft spoken and patient, she always had a knack for calming him down, and making him laugh. Suspecting giftedness, she celebrated his strengths and embraced his quirks to create valuable learning opportunities. All of this, plus: She responds to parent phone calls and emails almost momentarily and at all times of the day and night. She provides extensive feedback on a weekly basis detailing general classroom activity and even each child's individual progress, struggles, and her advice. She attends conferences to continue improving her already large wealth of knowledge and impressive skill set. She acts as a liaison between parents and administrators such as the school director and staff. I would highly recommend her for any family as a DC Special Needs Nanny."

"Beth has a kind, caring, patient nature and has been wonderful with my son. She was responsible for all things pertaining to him. Such as, diapering, dressing, feeding, and playtime! During his naptime she would help out with whatever I needed. I have a very hectic schedule that often changes last minute! Beth was always accommodating to my needs be frequently staying late, arriving early, or working extra days when I traveled! We were lucky to have her and know that she will be a valuable asset to any family as a DC Special Needs Nanny."

"Beth is a rare spirit. She embodies many of the qualities that one would hope to find, not only in a teacher, but also in a friend, sister, neighbor or co-worker. She is warm, kind and loving. She is bright, confident and generous. When chaos ensues, she finds the calm and passes it around the room. She is the definition of "a glass half-full" personality, consistently looking on the bright side. She is the type of person you meet for the first time and feel as though you have known for your entire life. I clearly remember meeting Beth for the first time last year, shaking her hand, feeling the warmth of her smile, seeing the excitement in her eyes and automatically knowing that my son was going to have a great year. Like many four year olds, my son has a blanket and stuffed animal that he has had since birth. They are his constant companions, his shadow. Sometimes a child can be a wonderful judge of character. In this case, with Beth, my son could not be more correct. In Beth, he saw a person he could trust, one he could count on to quiet his anxieties and quell his apprehensions. Beth has this uncanny ability to see a situation, quickly read it, and then in the most unassuming way, help the child through his or her problem, without the child ever even knowing he was helped. She builds character in the most subtle way. She is truly empathetic towards children, almost as if she remembers exactly what it was like to be one. I know it was her "job" to teach my son and to make sure he was safe. However, I am certain that nowhere in her job description did it state to truly love my son, protect his feelings and foster his spirit. I highly recommend her as a DC Special Needs Nanny."

"Beth has a wonderful attitude, and is very patient and loving with my daughter! She took care of all of her needs, from diapering to entertaining her during playtime. She would also take care of the child related tasks, such as laundry, tidying her room, etc. My schedule was very busy, and sometimes my husband and I had last minute requests for her to stay late or arrive earlier. She has always been very flexible and was able to accommodate our needs! We were very lucky to have Beth and highly recommend her for a DC Special Needs Nanny position!"

"It is with great pleasure I recommend Beth for a DC Special Needs Nanny position. Beth was my son’s first preschool teacher when he was 3 years old. Beth immediately impressed both me and my husband with her intelligence, keen observation skills, command of the classroom and perhaps most importantly the way she loved and nurtured the children. My son loved her and everyone I know who has had the good fortune of having their children under Beth’s care has also loved her. I will always remember our year in particular with Beth as our most special, because of the love and attention she gave my son and also for the creativity and energy she brought to my son’s life. I still have all the wonderful art projects and special mementos from his year with her up on our walls and throughout the house. I am especially grateful to Beth because she came into our lives at a particularly stressful and challenging time for us (we had moved into the area only a couple days before school started, we were still trying to sell our old house and had many problems to deal with in our new house) and on top of it all, we had a very clingy 3 year old who had never been out of his parents’ care before. I had been expecting lots of tears and drama as my son left our care for the first time but instead he was happier and more energized than I had ever seen him. I can’t thank Beth enough for helping us making that transition so brilliantly. I know from experience that Beth is an excellent caregiver and I can’t recommend her highly enough for a childcare position. Beth is a woman of impeccable character with a deep commitment to the well-being of children; I believe that any family would be tremendously fortunate to have her in their children’s lives."
