"I am a very bubbly person and enjoy getting to know new people. I am quite family orientated and have close ties to my family. For myself, being a nanny means that my job would be doing what I love the most which is working with children while watching them grow and learn. If asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be that being a Nanny is something that allows me to get to know a child/children and work closely with different families. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 5 years and can honestly say I thoroughly love what I do! Children are constantly engaging and learning new things while also developing as a person. Young children are sponges which absorb information when it is presented both directly and indirectly. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am punctual, respectful, diligent, intelligent, and trustworthy. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include reading, writing, outdoor play, trips to the local library and “field trips” to local stores and shops. Developing a daily schedule for the child/children would be included as well. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a nanny like myself, I would hope they would be active and friendly!"
