Each ABC Philadelphia Nanny Has
Need a Nanny with a background as a Main Line Housekeeper? ABC Nannies like Melissa understand how important a clean environment is for children to play in.
“I am very easy going, understanding, patient, and caring. My goal is to do the best I can do in everything! I am very close to my family and see them often. I want to be a Nanny because I love children and enjoy working with them. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be I love children. I truly enjoy teaching and learning from them. They are great! I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over six years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are terrific! My goal as a Nanny is to develop a positive and nurturing relationship with the children and the family. I would like to teach and learn from them! I have experience as a Main Line Housekeeper so I am willing to do housekeeping that includes cleaning up after the children, washing clothes, dishes, and other light housekeeping. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am patient, understanding, caring, passionate, and loving! Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include teaching the children, play dates, reading, and outdoor activities. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be very loving, understanding, and easy to work with!”
“I have had the privilege of working with Melissa, as her cooperating teacher. During this student teaching experience Melissa has taken on all of the responsibilities of the classroom teacher and has managed a full teaching schedule! As a veteran teacher of eighteen years and leader of the fifth grade team, I have worked with quite a few young men and women beginning their teaching careers. I can assure you that Melissa stands out as a bright, young, enthusiastic teacher with much to offer her students! Melissa’s work ethic is unparalleled as she spends many hours preparing meaningful lessons for my class. Also, she has had the invaluable experience of team teaching with colleagues to provide support for special needs children in this inclusion classroom. She truly understands how important it is to keep things clean and sanitized and uses her background as a Main Line Housekeeper well.”
“I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work with Melissa for two years. During this time, Melissa worked as a fourth and fifth grade teacher. As the mentor in the school, I worked with all new teachers that entered the building. I worked one on one with Melissa in order to plan, to implement, and to reflect on her lessons. Melissa was fully prepared each and every day for her students. Her lessons were engaging and quite motivating! Melissa was a master at assessing her students throughout their lessons and was able to trouble shoot the students that were struggling. Through her well-planned lessons, Melissa verified that each student achieved the daily learning objectives. Through Melissa’s constant reflection and professional development, she maintained high expectations for herself as a profession. Melissa was always willing and able to try whatever was necessary to promote student achievement. Melissa was always prompt and on time for school. She participated in numerous after school activities and supported her children in several extra-curricular activities. She used her background as a Main Line Housekeeper and always kept her classroom clean. Melissa was an active member in several professional organizations that enhanced her growth as a teacher. She met with her team of teachers often to analyze data, plan for instruction, and to communicate with parents. It was my pleasure to have the opportunity to work with Melissa. She was a great addition to our school and we are disappointed to see her go. She is a dedicated, young professional that would be an asset to anyone.”
