This may include meal preparation, assisting with getting dressed, transporting to and from activities and doctor visits, and reading. Some positions also require their Nanny to perform light housekeeping duties such as light dusting, vacuuming, and laundry. Housekeeping duties will always be secondary to childcare and must be specified and in writing on family application and Family/Nanny agreement. Full time live-out Nannies generally earn $700 to $950+ per week in addition to benefits including paid vacation, sick days, holidays and sometimes major medical insurance. The Nanny's salary and benefit package is greatly based on the Nannies experience, qualifications and the position requirements.

Full time Live In Nannies are generally on duty 55-60+ hours per week and oftentimes require discretion and confidentiality. Many ABC Live In positions are elite opportunities offering separate living quarters, guest home, personal vehicle and benefits. A typical day in the role of a Nanny will include many activities. First and foremost, Nannies care for the children. This may include meal preparation, assisting with getting dressed, transporting to and from activities and doctor visits, and reading. Some positions also require their Nanny to perform light housekeeping duties such as light dusting, vacuuming, and laundry although this is very limited and many families have hired household help that handles all heavy cleaning. Housekeeping duties will always be secondary to childcare and must be specified and in writing on family application and Family/Nanny agreement. Full time Live In Nannies generally earn $750 to $950+ per week plus room, board, cell phone and car usage in addition to benefits including paid vacation, sick days, holidays and sometimes major medical insurance. The Nanny's salary and benefit package is greatly based on the Nannies experience, qualifications and the position requirements.

Permanent Part Time Nannies

Part Time Live Out Nannies typically are on duty between 25 to 39 hours per week. Permanent Part time Nannies typically are paid an hourly rate verses a weekly salary because the hours may vary slightly from week to week. Hourly rates for part time Nannies are generally $20 to $25 per hour in addition paid vacation to coordinate with the family's yearly vacation plans, paid holidays and paid personal time.
