A Genuine Love for Children!
"I am a fun-loving and friendly person! I come from a large family; I am one of six children. I know the meaning of responsibility considering I have watched my 10 and 12 year-old sisters since they were born. I want to be a Nanny because I love children and it is a job I have enjoyed in the past. I have an excellent grasp on balancing fun and responsibility. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I am very nurturing and I love kids which makes the job seem less like work and more enjoyable. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 7 years and can honestly say I thoroughly enjoy what I do! I feel the children are: always fun to watch and I enjoy assisting in their development process. I feel like they become one of my younger brothers or sisters. My goal as a Nanny is to: take care of the children and ensure they are cared for in the way the parents desire and in the best way I know how. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes light cleaning, dishes, laundry, vacuuming, and cleaning up toys/rooms. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include arts and crafts, physical activity (going to parks or the pool), and really keeping the children away from too much TV! If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be open to my ideas, interested in the children's activity throughout the day, flexible, and laid-back!"

"I am currently certified as a teacher in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. I enjoy working with children in the classroom as well as the home setting! I am extremely flexible and organized. I am very outgoing and enthusiastic on a daily basis! I would like to be a nanny because I enjoy working with children and their needs in the more relaxed atmosphere of the home. I am currently a School Counselor but I want to have a job where I can work with small children, helping with childcare and education (as needed), in a less restrictive and crowded environment like the school building I work in. I would love to be able to take the child/children to the park, read them books, and have fun!
