ABC Nanny Source is excited to represent Margaret as one of our Nannies in Bergen County for her educational background and all around passion for children!

“I am very energetic. I am a patient, kind, fun, happy and a warm person. I enjoy the outdoors and keep myself active and fit. I love children and would be a positive player on any team. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I lost my job in a private school 6 years ago. I have been actively subbing in the local district without any contract. I feel it is the right time to change my direction and being a nanny would fit the bill. I feel the children are beautiful people that inspire me. Their curiosity and wonder are incredible qualities. Children are fun to be with and to teach new things to. Providing them with new experiences is fulfilling. My goal as a Nanny is to to provide the best care, in the best interests of the children and the family. I would adhere to the needs and wants of the children, keep them safe and happy. I would be an excellent role model. I have very strong family values. I am willing to do housekeeping at the children requests that includes cleaning, wash and cooking. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am energetic, patient, organized, caring and experienced. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include I feel its important to be consistent and on a routine. It is also important to provide the children with enough stimulation both inside and out of the home. Quiet time is as important as playtime. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be a family with respect and love for one another..one with strong values..one where happiness and laughter abound.

“Peg not only fulfilled the job requirements of her positions, but she went beyond what was expected of her! She always arrived far ahead of her start time each day to be certain that she was prepared for the coming day. In this way she was able to be child focused during the shared classroom time. She often made parent contact, phone calls or email, to assure that each student maintained good rate of progress or to address the parents of any issues that might have occurred. Peg was extremely flexible and did not stress when unexpected situations took place. It was my pleasure to work with Peg as a member of my second grade team this past year. Peg came in to a situation that may have daunted a less experienced and knowledgeable individual. She exhibited calm in the face of several extremely trying situations. She sees the child as a whole and does not think of him/her in a one faceted fashion. Peg worked to challenge the children when appropriate and to support them with different teaching approaches when needed. I have never seen Peg be anything but respectful to not only adults but to every child with whom she worked. She is a caring, warm, intelligent, and dedicated individual. My only regret with regards to Peg Story is that I do not get to work alongside of her again this year! Out of all of the Nannies in Bergen County, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Margaret to you!”

“Margaret had been a teacher for many years and was always loved by her students. She is very professional and has a nice appearance. Margaret used to watch my daughter when she was little and I felt extremely comfortable with her. She would be a wonderful asset to your family! I’m sure she will shine above the rest of the Nannies in Bergen County!”

“ She is very kind, considerate, helpful and caring. My children adore her and she is very capable of handling multiple children at once. She lights up when she spends time with the children and is always excited to spend time with them, as they are with her. In my opinion she has every qualification that I would seek in a nanny out of the Nannies in Bergen County if that was an option for me!”
