"What impressed me the most about working with ABC Nanny Source was the level of detail and organization in which such confidential information was presented. I received an extensive profile of each nanny candidate prior to her coming to my home for an interview. Once each nanny arrived at my door, I was fully relaxed because I felt I already knew the person in front of me! That’s how detailed these profiles were. The process was made very easy for our family and within a matter of days, I hired the perfect nanny for our children!"

Sonia is an Issaquah Governess because she loves being a role-model to children!

“I am caring, responsible, flexible and always serious about my job. I come from a humble family in Lima, Peru. I’ve always liked reading about psychology, but it was child psychology that made me start studying and working as a Nanny and an Issaquah Governess. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I love children and I love seeing them grow up to their parent’s expectations. I’ve been doing it for so long that there is no reason for me to not love my job. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 18 years and can honestly say I really love what I do! I feel the children are the most important thing in our world to dedicate our time to. They are the next generation, so we must make sure they grow up to be healthy and successful individuals for the greater good of mankind. My goal as a Nanny is to work with the family as a whole and see the fruits of my labor as the child grows up and becomes a happy and successful individual. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes laundry, kitchen, and some cleaning and sweeping. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am responsible, caring, patient, observant, and joyful. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include training the child to speak Spanish (if the parents wish), reading time to improve the child’s reading and speaking skills, arts and crafts to expand the child’s creativity and to help motivate the child in pursuing any talents or interests he or she might possibly have. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be a happy, non-conflictive family that is very welcoming and family oriented.”

“Sonia has been an integral part of our family, since she was introduced to us to care for our then-10-month-old. It was an interesting arrangement, one in which multiple families shared her caretaking services as an Issaquah Governess, working as one family and alternating households on a weekly basis. I was immediately impressed at how well Sonia was able to manage several different kinds of personalities, not to mention how easily she adapted to different parenting styles; while applying the highest level of professionalism, a positive attitude, knowledge and understanding of infant and toddler needs and safety, not to mention providing an exuberant amount of love. Sonia has been our nanny exclusively since after we had our second child, and the other families we previously had an agreement with opted out of the "nanny-share" with children in school full-time. There are no words to describe what Sonia means to us. She is like family and our children do not recall their lives without her. Sonia is very playful, patient, kind, gentle and intuitive. It is clear, and a true testament to who she is as a human being, employee and caretaker, that she will do what is necessary to make people happy. Sonia is also very clean, timely, happy, and pro-active. She has taken the time and consideration to come to know us and our household as well as we know ourselves. She gets things done before we even have to ask. Here are a few things my children had to say about "Nanny" (as we call her) when asked to say something relative to Sonia~
**Colin (age 7): "She's funny", "She likes to play board games", "She's the best nanny in the world"**
**Gavin (age 5): "I love her", "She's funny"**
Whoever Sonia works for next, will ultimately be given a true gift from God. Good luck in your selection process journey!”

“Our family's experience with Sonia has been more than we could’ve ever dreamed of when we found her almost four years ago. We contacted a nanny agency during the summer hoping to find an Issaquah Governess to care for our infant triplets. From the moment we interviewed Sonia, we knew she was exactly what our family needed. She was able to care for the infants, giving them the love and care they deserved. And she reassured us, as new parents, that caring for 3 new babies was nothing new to her after having raised her 9 brothers and sisters, in addition to her previous experience being a nanny! She was constantly working with our little ones from getting them on a schedule (eating, sleeping) to giving them exercise time in order to strengthen muscles. As new parents to multiples, it was extremely reassuring to know our babies were being cared for by such an incredible person. As our babies grew, so did Sonia. She moved with them from infancy to toddler hood, keeping them busy and loved. Sonia also moved with us physically when my husband's job took us to a new city. After almost a year's employment with our family, she relocated with us to our new home. We consider ourselves very blessed for this as this enabled our relationship to continue for another 3 years. We truly appreciate the consistency Sonia has provided to our children. We give Sonia the very highest recommendation possible for future employment and would consider the next employment family a very lucky one.”

“I am highly recommending Sonia to you as an Issaquah Governess. Sonia watched our daughter, Sally, for the first two years of her life. In fact, Sonia watched Sally, and our neighbor's daughter, Alexis. She was able to give them individual attention while engaging both of them. She was actively involved as a nanny. She read to the girls, took them on walks, and played games with them. There was always an activity (unless they were napping). Sonia is gentle, but can provide discipline. She is very loving. She cared for them like they were her own children. Sonia left our family because we were expecting our second child. We agreed that Alexis' family would continue to work with her and we would get another nanny. We were sad to see her go. Fortunately, we still get to see Sonia. She still works in our neighborhood and cares for our friends' children. Without knowing you, I think you will be thrilled with Sonia. She is a very caring and responsible woman. Your child will be in good hands!”

“Where do we start, Sonia has been and still is a part of our family for over 8 years. We were the original employers and hired her over 90 other applicants for the position of Issaquah Governess. As a partner of a medical business and my husband traveling often, we were very particular about the Nanny we wanted for our child, and Sonia measured up to every expectation and more. Sonia is an exceptional caregiver; she will provide you with exceptional kindness, respect and professionalism. Her love for my child grew as if Sonia carried her on her own for nine months, it was truly priceless. Many of our colleagues, friends, and mothers from school would approach me and comment on Sonia's care giving skills and how impressed they were of her as a Nanny. She multi-tasks and took direction well, working with two different families with two different agendas and lifestyles seemed seamless to her. With regret, we could no longer use Sonia for the hours she need, Alexis started Kindergarten full-time. Sonia stayed in our development with the family we shared her with and to this day remain very close. In taking care of a young child and sick mother, we still needed help with nights and weekends with our child, so we discovered an Au Pair service and hired a live-in Au Pair. Our experience was not as pleasurable as it was with Sonia, the maturity, experience, and attitude did not even compare with what we had in a well-seasoned Nanny as Sonia. Sonia has a great ability and instinct with infants, toddlers and children! You will be very pleased once you chose her as your nanny!”
